Sorry mate French loaf is definitely not the best cafe in town..its just a chain of restaurant having its headquarters in Chennai..and i had the experience of ordering a plum cake few years ago and it was the worst i ever had..there are some great cafes that serves best stuff.

I having been in accidents twice its a wise decision, Indian cities are dangerous for two wheelers, get a rental car, and explore.

Indian roads are not for cyclists mate. They have the least priority. Their highways are getting faster but also deadlier. It's out of control. Great decision to pull out.
