Over 7 weeks, 3 exams, 2 phone interviews, sorted visa, and already signed contract, you still need to go for 3 weeks training and an exam at the end of it, which most likely you will fail if you are not the robot they want you to be. They are so needy they expect you to bring: New phone, PC, headphones, webcam, fast internet, quiet place and of course you already have working visa. They will waste your entire hiring session on you with a very dumb lack of communication process. They have zero patience and expect you to sort everything without even knowing what are you expecting.

It is horrible the amount of stress you get from day one and you are so right I had 3 weeks of training, strefull exams, they do not provide you with computer just and old phone and low quality headset 😭 also they spect you to have a quite place otherwise you can have issues with QA no bathroom time 🤡 and salary is an insult, well I speak 4 languages so I will work as interpreter until I manage to hold a job in costumer service again hopefully back office😭

You will be handling sensitive information, the United States has been attacked with scams, they have to make sure where to find you if something happens and you have to pay taxes, but some companies take responsibility and hire you because they have a license or certification, but they will pay you based on where you are located.

In my opinion, if interpreting over the phone is stressful for you, just work part-time. Get the experience. Learn if typing or noting notes 📝 is your thing since this job is consecutive and also study the medical terminology for a month before you apply. Later you can specialize in a specific industry such as finance, business, medical, legal, etc. or for international conferences as a simultaneous interpreter and work face to face, but REMEMBER, is a career where you can grow professionally, so take classes and go for higher education, you can get hired without a degree or certificate, but you get paid around the world proportionate to your level of education or experience and also consider learning Arabic, about 374.9 million people speak it.

I worked for Language Line in Mexico (outsourced) and it is like Slavery!!! Interpreting is the most exhausting job mentally there is and they do not give you any break!!! Any time you need to go to the bathroom you have to sign out and they don’t pay you for those minutes. You only get 30 minutes for a break when you work 8 hours but it is impossible to work that long and stay healthy! I had horrible migraine headaches every day and I had to stop. I couldn’t even work anymore. I reduced my daily hours and even then I needed more breaks. Well… they stopped sending me as many calls like as a punishment and of course the money wasn’t worth staying. I had to quit after a year! Don’t do it!

BS the job isnt like that, I worked with Data mark who is part of LLS and because i dint achieved 100% and only 90% on my minutes they took away my Bonus that bonus was 1500 Mexican pesos and i end up with only the regular pay 1800 per week, now i tried to work for LLS united states because i hate those rats, and they dint even responded me, they said oh they are working and reviewing my applications, but never contacted me again, you guys make a lot of money, and here in mexico we are making 100 USD a week and with the Bonus who your supervisor might take away if they want too, you will make 195 USD a week, porqueria.
