Good afternoon. It depends on the season. As winter is here, jerkbaits, crankbaits and buzzbaits seems to work well. During summer weightless senko's work very well. What I like about Boskop is that experimenting with different baits makes it very interesting. When it's very windy, spinnerbaits is the best bet

Hi there. That's a very difficult question to answer. We were at Boskop dam from the 2nd of October till the 25th. There was only 2 days we didn't catch. On average we caught +- 4 to 5 fish sometimes less or more. I lost count after about 35 and stop counting and just enjoyed catching. With the videos I'm only at the 6th of October so alot to go through. Some were small so they won't make it on the videos.

You must definitely give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised. It's an underrated bait and not many people use them. At Boskop Dam it's a killer bait.

Thank you. Yes I think tou will be alright on the kickboat. If your going to Tanglewood nature estate side at the end of the resort near the reeds there is like a pocket you can go into when the wind bliws over the main part of the dam, the reeds shelter you from the wind and it holds some good fish.

Good evening. Sorry for the late reply. There's no rules actually. Only thing is to avoid the place on weekends as there are too many carp anglers. Usually there is not alot of boat traffic on the water.
