I love DS, quite alot actually, but this ending is anti-climatic and truly terrible. You just walk in and kill Gywn, there isnt a cutscene. Hes basically no more than a difficult mid level boss

I played both between gow 3 and ascension more prefer gow ascension for the blade gameplay effect and gow 3 for the story

Be warned that killing Ingward in PtDE (not Remastered) can bug him and NOT drop the key. Which essentially halts your progress and you need to start new game.
