Eine Meisterleistung! Thank you for this exceptionally well made and very well explained video. I have not heard anything that comes close to the clarity and enthusiasm of Dirigent Joana Mallwitz. The idea of involving a few instruments of the relevant orchestra section is brilliant. The fact that she chose to describe my favorite symphony left me in seven heaven. One can only hope that more videos with Frau Mallwitz will be forthcoming (I can see one about Beethoven's 6th!). With such an exceptionally talented and charismatic young conductor I am optimistic about the future of classical music in our troubled times. I hope that this kind of videos make it to the classrooms and bring inspiration and delight to young minds. I look forward to listening to Dirigent Joana Mallwitz conduct "Le Nozze di Figaro" at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in May 2025.
