Absolutely insane riding I live in the springs and regularly rode up pikes on a 2001 sv650 until last month, when i bought a 2014 multistrada 1200 A little humbling the way this video puts into context what that bike *could* do with the right rider on board. We'll see how I do when the snow clears off in a few weeks

Anyone else watch the video tilting their head to the side with each turn? 😂. I don’t know how this man was able to cart his massive balls up to the top so fast..lots of respect for this dude, I could never do something like that..I’m way too chicken! 😂 Love the video! Amazing talent.

Are any of the racers doing anything to get the race back up and running? Back in 2019 Carlin Dunn's Parents said in a interview with the Colorado Springs Newspaper that they wanted the races to go on and Carlin would want the race to go on. Why not run it on a seperate day from the cars...like the day after?

Oh yea - this is why we multistrada ;)

Late to the party but wow. What an awesome ride. People talk about the cliffs but I was looking at the shoulders, sliding off that would have catapulted the rider into the trees. That course had no forgiveness of getting off the line.

Would love to see IOM TT racers do this run on their race bikes. Guy Martin's wasn't an IOM race bike but still impressive. So I can only imagine what these guys can do on an actual race bike.

Greg what do you think about running a 2013 Multi as a flat track bike. I am trying to compete in the Hooligan class but it allows 750+ street chassis (can change swing arm). I am working on a carbon fiber tank and seat combo that really takes it down to frame width, which is huge on these as you know. Tank holds aprox 2.3gal of fuel and is between the tresle chassis. I would love your input on ECU (fuel mapping) and on eliminating all of the electronic systems that are not needed on a race bike. Please reach out, email is [email protected].

I plan on fabricating a rear swingarm to adjust the front fork angle and achieve the appropriate swing arm angle. That is phase 2 of the project. first thing first is getting the cockpit right. I have really slimmed down the width of the bike and lowered the seat significantly. I plan on running a 19 front this year with a rain tire that looks pretty good for flat track. Next year I would like to replace the singarm and shorten the axle to axel lenght and lower a good bit. I am trying to match the geometry of a few know race bikes. Like I said I would love some feedback and to throw a few ideas by you!

Now motorcycles aren't even allowed... So lame. That and the paving ruined this event.

Has to be the best run up there, I've said before this inspired me to go buy one, after kidney cancer. I bought it and looked at it in my dining room for 6mths, whilst recovering.. 4yrs on still here. cheers Greg Tracy, I appreciated the Face book message you sent me, Top Man..

Fast forward to 2019 and the sad loss of Carlin Dunne riding the new v4 Panigale, losing control on the last bend. No more bikes to run at PP . Make the most of past efforts.

My God man. I live in the mountains in SoCal and ride sportbikes, a superduke 1290r and a Ducati Pikes Peak. I thought I was pretty spiffy. Turns out, not so much. This video is inspiring, frightening, nerve wrenching and well... frightening. Holy Hell man, good stuff. Wow.

Wow. The sight and sound seem oddly not to be from the same run; clearly he is going as fast as possible, often flat out, but the sound of that Ducati engine makes it sound like a Sunday outing; not like a sewing-machine at full speed.. Amazing!
