Came across this video. And it’s informative for sure. I see the struggles but you hustling cause you have to make a living and provide for your family. But a really big con is like you said, you’re using that as your daily driver. You having your kids in the back and carrying all that extra weight in equipment causes a safety hazard for your family (god forbid) if you were to get into an accident. Whether you crash into something or someone rear ends you. That impact is gonna push all that stuff thru the seat. And I know this sounds unsettling, random, and it might never happen in most cases cause there aren’t a lot of mobile detailers using their sedans. The main fact is the weight, you’re already carrying a generator. That right there is heavy in itself. And there might be days when you clear the trunk area for groceries, but there might be somedays you don’t want to take out the equipment cause maybe you have an appointment in the morning or whatever. And then you’re leaving it to chance at that point. I only speak from experience, a car jack and a couple tools were enough to cause harm to those in the back seat when I hydroplaned and crashed into a tree. It’s just better to invest in a ford transit connect or Mercedes metris. Even a pick up truck or truck would help way more when it comes to more weight being put on the vehicle and gas savings. Cause the more weight you’re putting on a vehicle the more gas it burns and the more it’s pushing itself cause of the weight. A lot of people using their SUVS just for the fact they have more room. And in their case they don’t use it as a daily, they get their framing done, take out the back seats and dedicate that vehicle for their business. It doesn’t have to be a van but something that can handle the purpose you are using it for. But yea it’s just something to think about, especially for the safety of your family bro. Having your own work vehicle aside from your daily driver benefits you cause of the space, more space for your equipment, and better for the weight distribution. And the faster it’s gonna be to get the work done and like you said look professional. You can always put your AD on the vehicle to promote your business.

Hey man look into the 4.5 gallon 200 max psi ridgid air compressor it delivers 5.1 scfm which is what the tornador recommends it’s not all about how big the tank is. Nice setup though

I’m not a detailer but have washed all mine and my family’s cars for years. One thing I’ve found, save the microfibers and use a regular towel for the interior cup holder gunk etc. it’s more abrasive and way cheaper and won’t leave colored lint either

Congrats brother I love your setup! Simple and all you need! Suggestion- they sell a 110gallon tank that will fit and if you can get a smaller vacuum then you can get a tonneau cover everything will be covered protected and safe! I've had a similar setup for 10+ years!! I wish you the best!!

The Wagner steamer is crap. Doesn't get hot enough to create steam. Example at 4:05. Get a McCullough; it's just a few dollars more.
