Unfortunately I had a pretty bad day and ran 1:16. Luckily this was still quick enough to be home before the rain ☔️ well done for getting through the rain though.

Since when threshold/sub treshold is 5K pace?
@arnyrogers Жыл бұрын
Agreed it’s not. The workout would have been in the SuperThreshold zone which under the zone system I use is zone 5a. It’s more like 10km/HM pace for me. I tend to just go by feel anyway as I have no actual way of measuring lactate so don’t really know where my threshold is.
@apelsinas14 Жыл бұрын
@@arnyrogers I think threshold for a lot of runners roughly is around marathon pace.

How can you rise the resistance in Garmin ? Training peaks gives only the intervals in Which you have to get that power. How can you control the resistance?
@arnyrogers Жыл бұрын
Resistance for what? If you are bike training and using a smart trainer you can import the power goals and the trainer will match the power but thats down to the trainer and not Training Peaks. Other than that you could set a power goal but it’s you job to hit the target.

I recently got the 945, and i created a cycling training plan in garmin connect. I wanted to do that training plan in zwift on my trainer. From what I'm seeing, you can't automatically bring in workouts from garmin into zwift, but you can bring in workouts from training peaks. Is there a way to bring garmin connect workouts into training peaks?

Hello great video, How do i link my sleep from my garmin fenix 6 and other information like steps
@arnyrogers2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eddie. I use an app called fitnesssyncer. You can basically program it to extract data from one site and send it to another. I have it set to sync sleep and weight from GARMIN connect to training peaks. www.fitnesssyncer.com
@shalenpillar26593 жыл бұрын
I recently purchased my garmin 935..TP says the devices are in Sync but I cannot see anything on my watch and how do I know that my data will automatically upload on training peaks related the workout that I have loaded?
@arnyrogers3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shalen. Once you have Garmin connect synced to TP as soon as your watch syncs with Garmin connect it will automatically add it to training peaks. It will then match your run with you training peaks calendar and if it matches it will link it and turn green. As for the training that’s on your TP calendar they will only appear as a run on your watch if they have been built using the training peaks work it builder.

Did you say that your watch syncs your sleep data with TP?
@arnyrogers2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the extremely delayed reply. I’ve not been on my KZbin account for some time. I use fitnesssyncer to copy data from one site to another. www.fitnesssyncer.com/

When do you do these in relation to your runs?
@arnyrogers3 жыл бұрын
I’ll always prioritise the run first. I wouldn’t want to do a glute circuit before my run just in case it caused an injury. I normally aim to do them on my easy days either just after the run or in the evening. Like everything the more you do them the easier they become. It could leave you a little sore the first few times though if your new to it.

Good information, ...but almond milk? I think is just water with sugar, wasted money,....better to eat nuts, almonds ,..Also best recovery drink is just milk. I know from a reliable and close source that many top football players (Real Madrid for example) drink cow´s milk with pure cocoa or beetroot juice or pomegrenate juice after matches. All of this with good scientific level of evidence (not reading Men´s Heatlhs or Sport Life). Thank you for your video, You´re a great runner..
@arnyrogers3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I agree there's definitely better milk choices out there. I just like the taste of almond milk in smoothies. I actually have a lot of normal cows milk throughout the day as I regularly snack on bowls of serial. I'm looking to do a video showing what I eat in a day soon. I think diet Is certainly an area we can all improve on.

I have started to post my training for an Ultra in hopes of motivating myself to push harder. Do you find you are more motivated since posting your training?
@arnyrogers5 жыл бұрын
gdultra Run Absolutely. The knowledge that people are watching and supporting your running is great motivation to call upon when things get tough. It leaves you feeling that your training and running is more than just you and is in fact helping and motivating a small community of people. I can only imagine how this would be if the channel ever grew bigger.
