The girl at the end - she obviously spent a lot of time in the States. Might I say that her mother tongue is American English?

It may seem easier but to be fair they are Japanese they don't speak English all the time so it would make sense they don't know English well

Really interesting from a linguistic perspective bc the R sound in english doesnt really exist in japanese which is why they all use L in place of R. They come from very different places in the mouth so its hard for native speakers to understand but think about a spanish pronounciation of “maria”where the R is made like a L

if it's any consolation, I have a southern accent. Sometimes Google's speech recognition doesn't work for me unless I try to speak in a neutral American accent.

"Everything I do is not interesting" is ironically terrible English. It should be "Nothing I do is interesting." or simply "People think I'm boring."

If you visit Japan as a foreigner they love to have you. If you move to Japan to live there as a foreigner they will not accept you nor do they want you there. The Japanese only want the Japanese living in their country. Extremely low diversity rate because they don’t want you living there unless you are Japanese. Oh and the USA is the country people call racist. ......the USA is the least racist and most diverse country in the world and yet it's somehow considered racist. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.
@therollerlollermanКүн бұрын
Lots of foreigners are accepted as citizens in Japan. Well, 95% of them are from other East-Southeast Asian countries and can speak Japanese.
@bloodiraven18 сағат бұрын
USA not racist? Yeah, sure, tell that to the Mexican, Muslims, and black people. What a joke
