If you missed church this morning you MUST watch Ben’s message! The Holy Spirit was in this place this morning- watch how the Spirit moved among us during the closing hymn…We thank You, O God, for this blessed day. It opened with grace, and grace has brightened all its sacred hours. We have seen Your face, and our hearts have been made to rejoice. We have waited upon You, and You have renewed our strength. We went to Your sanctuary, and You met us there and blessed us. We prayed to You, and You came near to us in love, breathing Your own life into our souls. Thank you, Holy Father! Amen…

AMEN Ben! I love these this Gospel BC sermons. They are easier to understand for me. This sermon was very simple, yet powerful! Thank you for that Ben. Your inspirational teachings, being human like the rest of us and compassion are a true blessing for all of us!

Go be the Church to the lost that would never step into a building they call the church. A structure can't do what God has animated us to do intimately from one heart to another!

Three things from Pastor Ben this week 1) Consider what you expect of God. 2) Examine the motives behind your expectations. 3) Ask yourself if you are willing to rely on Jesus for your deepest needs.

This, for me, is one (top 3 or 4) of your teachings that landed strongest. There is some meat on that bone to live and thrive on. One compliment to the Bread theme, Yeshua/Jesus, the Bread of life came from (was born in to this world) Bethlehem. Bethlehem literally means "House of Bread".

Scripture proves Scripture. Scripture reflects and shows the patterns that YHVH weaves and operates in throughout. Instead of asking why, I try and ask which (pattern).

Amen. The curtain is no flimsy curtain, it is more substantial than you'd imagine. God tore it from top down to the bottom (that's how He would do it) because of the sacrifice of The innocent Lamb Jesus (atonement for our sin). In Iran the church is expanding exponentially with no buildings, no budget, no guarantees they'll live if found, no influence from powerful people and it is led by women (in a muslim country). Only God can pull that off. The blood and the water also came out of Jesus side when he was pierced hanging on the cross first came the blood and then the water (all these details are important or Scripture wouldn't include them). Great message brother. I'm encouraged at the hearing of the Word.

My prayer life had to move from me focused to Him focused. He knows. I want to know what He knows and then respond to His direction in obedience.

Love the Book of Ruth and am looking forward to the next 5 weeks. Great insights into the struggle we call life and how to listen and obey the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I know and love my brother Ben. I am delighted to see this recognition on behalf of his congregation and fellowship. Ben would not have created or seek the opportunity to be recognized in this way (or any way), therefore in his own authentic way, he shifts the focus (humility) to those in his fellowship of faith that are doing the work (rightfully so). I am delighted for Ben and his family to be right where God has put them for His purpose and to see it being walked out to the glory of God.

The beauty of this teaching is, in it's simplicity, the depth of Truth flows out of it. Unless you've been intentionally seeking intimacy with God in the struggles of life, you may not realized the power of the Truth in this teaching. Keep them coming Ben!

Ben describes this as a simple teaching but if we don't understand it we are greatly handicapped. Thank you for making this teaching on grace simple enough to comprehend yet putting it into a context that shows us it's importance and relevance to our walk with Messiah and our fellow man.

What a beautiful series of three messages (so far) as MW Locust Grove is embarking on a beautiful season in the life of your church. The message is so simple yet profound as the cornerstone of who you've been, who you are and where God is taking you individually and as a body. I'm enjoying the messages and the mid week check ins! May God bless your congregation and the entire Central Missouri region through the ministries of MWLGUMC!
