How does that x/waves dynamic works? Is it like, after 1000 waves defeated, you get this mimic?

No if its 1/1000 that means its a 0,01% that it spawns on any wave after wave 10

I got Wicky Mimic yesterday and holy shit I do not recommend anyone to go for it. This was my second time encountering it because the first time it spawned when I was using a bad loadout and strong enemies modifier. You can't have fun there, because you have to you a set loadout, otherwise you're not killing it.
