god this is just perfect, it keeps the same vibe and some instruments from the original but it feels new. and i absolutely love the bass and how the background instrument notes during the chorus actually matches with the vocals during the “i’m so glad to know” part, unlike the original instrumental

Its probably the pad synths and chorus melody but dam there is a very beautiful sadness to the way this sounds, for instance there's a certain melody in my head that only i can sing to myself because it sounds perfect to me, like its the embodiment of me and if this isn't the closest thing to it then i wont find anything better.
