Thank you for your reply Leighjae, you are still young and have your whole working life in front of you, so don’t feel too bad because you have plenty of time in the future to return to Jamaica. I spent 40 years working as a pastry chef and I needed to get it all out of my system by going to work in different countries to learn new dishes and experience a new way of life. When you are ready, you know you can go back any time. Just enjoy it while it lasts because the time goes so fast. I am 58 now and have taken early retirement, but I look back on my life and I’m so glad that I travelled in my younger years. What part of England are you in? I’m on the south coast in Worthing.
