Hey Lisa, just an easy question for you. if i want to translate this song to my baritone would i use the same g tuning cords or the same cord shapes ( d tuning cord names). could it be that simple?
@TheUkuleleFool
@TheUkuleleFool 20 сағат бұрын
Yes! It could be that simple. You can use the shapes of the chords from the regular ukulele and you would be playing it a 5th lower. You can't do the play along and have it sound right. Great question.

Great demo of pick styles and sounds. As soon as I am comfortable with my fingerpicking I will try the Alaskan picks. The doorstop is genius. Thanks for the reviews.

The B section is a challenge. I know how to play the Fm. B flat, and E flat, but the combination will take a lot of practice.. Thanks for the time stamp of that section.

Yes, that part is challenging for many, but it does open up a whole new world of chord combinations.

Awesome tutorial. Thank you. Challenging to get a clear strumming sound for F and D for me. Practice practice practice❤
@TheUkuleleFool
@TheUkuleleFool 7 күн бұрын
My guess - chording hand fingers are getting in the way. On the F chord you need to make sure your ring finger is clearing the other strings. On the D you need to angle your chording hand so you can get all three fingers to seat well on the strings.

Thanks for letting me know. One of my dear patrons, who has been supporting me for years lives in a rural area of the Netherlands. Back in the day, I got caught up in the Lucky Luick housing riot near the Van Gogh Museum. I was doing part of my arts funding studies there in 1982.

I love this so much! I saw Coldplay in concert in Chicago in 2008-ish. It was amazing!! It was such a moving experience to be there and feel the energy of their songs that I fell in love with over the years. I'll never forget the colorful paper butterfly confetti at the end. I still have some of those pieces I kept from the show as keepsakes.
