Trimming before placement is the method I have used. I have found that the hot hemmers make for an outstanding folding aide.

This was a great tutorial, thanks! I just a YT clip where this book was prompted, by Mr Hentsh…….. and here you were….. awesome! You mentioned the “heavy” cushions…. I wonder if you have, or could do a tutorial on HOW you put together a cushion (after you’ve created the front). I LOVE those heavy (solid) type cushions, a would love to see how it’s done. Here’s hoping…. xoxo e. NB 🇨🇦

Just bought this book. Love paper piecing and flying geese. I always use an old postcard or something to help fold the foundation paper along the correct line before stitching. I do use Carol Doan's papers. Good explanation. I will start with a cushion.

This was a great tutorial, thank you. Was wondering; is there a huge difference between the HD 1000 & the HD 3000 versions? I was looking at the 1000 one but couldn’t find anything specifying a discernible difference

Hi - Very sorry the audio is not the best but you could try increasing the volume on the video and on your device at the same time - it helps. :-)

What fabric are you using there Paige? I know that you mentioned it in class but I didn’t write it down. It looks great for a practice piece.
