As brilliant as he is, Maron can be so irritating that he even annoyed the cool headed even tempered Gaffigan. Sheesh

People with large families must be given credit for not ridiculing the parentless ones and their glutenous self absorption.

Or at least grateful the lowly childless left the large families enough space for their entire litter to eat and breathe 😃

"I kept my day job so I wouldn't have to do a bar show in New Jersey"...I am not from the states, but Americans, when you hear this, do you assume the guy has, a) Been and done those Jersey bars and seen enough, b) never been there, but is using the image of New Jersey to convey the point?

Possibly A or B, he could have heard stories and maybe done a few. Or he could have never done any. I don't feel from listening to Gaffigan that he would use a place as a byword for a terrible gig if he had zero first hand experience of the place.
