Thanks so much for sharing. You are a very good teacher. I am sewing a zipper pocket to a lining that I'm adding to my crochet bag. I'm a beginner as far as putting zippers in. You were very detailed and precise, exactly what I needed. ❤

Could you do this without putting two layers one inside the other couldn't you just put two layers of material and sew them and cut them all together and then turn the whole thing right side out

Great video, clear, well-paced and thorough, no need for endless rewinds. I feel proud to have just done my first ever weaving!! Thank you! In my case, the weave got quite close to the hammock and i was wondering if it's possible to finish it early, or whether that would negatively affect the balance of the strings. Difficult to explain... Anyway, i have another that needs fixing so i will experiment! Thanks again! Is that a Texan accent?

Wonderful tutorial, thank you. This is the first actual thing I have ever made on the sewing machine I have had for 20 years and I am so pleased with it! It looks great and you can't even tell that I can not sew a straight line to save my life LOL!

Me too this was my first ever sewing project. One thing I did to help get straight lines was actually to use chalk or pencil and use a ruler to draw a straight line, so when you are sewing you know your Stiches aren’t wonky.

I’m helping a 9 year old neighbor her first ever sewing project. She did a scrappy patchwork for the outer layer. Out of all the available tutorials this was best. Halfway through she decided to enter it in the Colorado State Fair. So we’ll see! 🤞🏼

Thank you for your instructions very clear. And you have a nice voice. I only wish that the aligning and the outside fabric would have been to different colors. Being 76 I got confused But great video

Why wouldn’t you just cut 2 x 24 inches pieces for the handles instead of mucking around with all that extra fabric and having an unnecessary join. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I LOOOOVE making little inset pockets! It really is like magic. I think I got a bum roll of wonder tape because I could pin about six zippers in the time it takes me to remove the backing from one tape strip! Never buying again.
