I close my eyes Only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams Pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind All they are is dust in the wind Same old song Just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind Oh Now, don't hang on Nothin' lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away And all your money won't another minute buy Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind (All we are is dust in the wind) Dust in the wind (Everything is dust in the wind) Everything is dust in the wind The wind

Hi man first off, how are you? I hope you're doing fine. I remember in 2019 when i discovered your channel. At that time i was also a doomer. Confused about what i want from life, fat, shut-in, not really having friends and just deppresed. Fast forward to today 24 years old, still kinda doomerish but i feel more content to say the least. Got a parttime job, halfway to uni, got a bit fitter, becoming better at guitar and more confident. I got your channel recommended to me a couple day's ago and it reminded me how i would listen to your edits everyday on my to college en how just connected i felt not only with you but also the others and in the comments. y'all got me to tough times and i just wanna say thank you and all the people here. Remember, it's not a bad moment or event in your life that defines you, but how you react to it see you space cowboy. ps: sorry if my English is bad or any spelling mistakes.

Makes me think of closing time at a bowling alley. Both because AIC is a staple at lanes, but also the crowd who see an alley to close, likely at the bar, are some of the more interesting examinations of the human condition in this world

Lately i been filling the hole in myself with light drugs, sadly every woman i meet i loose i just cuddle and hold their hands while having fun and then they loose interest. Never trully met a person i would be interested in and they would be interested in me 😔

Listening to this while lonely in the fall of my senior year of college. Where am I going, where have I been? It's September, but it's snowing inside my head. Trapped in my cell, trapped in myself. Little piece of paper, write a couple words, go to sleep. Little bite of food, take a nibble, sit on a bench. No hand to hold.

not sure why but ive always been very sad to be alive. Theres the good and great parts of it but deadass ever since i was a little kid ive always felt like I shouldnt be alive, and as ive continually experienced more of life i dont think i was that far off when i was younger. Its not pessimism or nihilism for me, its a different feeling, there is definitely purpose to be had in life, and its what you make of it. yet I feel as though im an unnatural, forced thing that happened and that i ultimately dont belong here, and while i can conjure a purpose for myself in life it doesnt seem true, as though im lying to myself. The chords of nutshell have always resonated with me, and when pitched down its like its going from punching the gut to below the belt in the anguish it spews.

This song takes me back to when I knew people getting married. To when I could feel love. This was played at every wedding I went to. Every relationship I’ve had ended because of me. I get teary when I hear this song because it reminds of a better time when the world was a better place, before things went south. I wish I still had friends.

Hey man, i really love these, you should do one with Miss Misery by the great Elliot Smith. Note there’s the official studio version and the official Early Version, which is just his voice and guitar, lyrics kinda different too. I’ve been watching/listening these videos for the last hours and I’ve also been listening to that song all night, it would be perfect, man. Keep doing these, we love it. Edit: this song was nominated for best original song at the 1998 Oscars, it was composed for Good Will Hunting, being one of the favorites and most likely to win but lost it to Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On. She later stated that she expected Miss Misery to win instead. The rest is history.
