Did it occur to anybody that people would say "the meeting will take place at 10:00 am" and "accidents can happen".
@TopEnglishPodcast2 ай бұрын
Both are correct but the word "occur" is more advanced than the others

It is so fascinating to know how people around the world celebrate Diwali with different purposes and meanings. It is not really a thing in South Korea where few people know about this festival. I thought it would be fun and meaningful to enjoy this world celebration for my personal intention to hightlight hope, triumph, and victory achieved in darkness😊

Hello! Thank you for making these useful and helpful contents. I have been listening and enjoying your podcast. I have a question. Even though I kind of understand the differences between going to and will, It is still not clear when I am trying to use them in sentences. Could you be kind to explain how these two sentences below are different in meaning and nuance? 1. I am going to watch a movie this Saturday. 2. I will watch a movie this Saturday. I have always thought that they are interchangable.

Thank you for this question, Let us clear ! use "Going to" when the future is certain, and use "will" when the future is uncertain. In your sentence no 1, You already have brought the movie ticket so you will almost watch the movie. But in the second sentences you are just thinking about to watch movie, but you haven't bought the movie ticket yet. Did you get it ?

'Language learning is a journey with no finish line' is the quote of today for me! Even though I do know it, It is so difficult to feel really comfortable with the concept. Seems like I need constant encouragement. Thank you for another great episode❤

Are the speakers AI voices? They keep reaffirming each other ; "it is!" "They are" . Exactly!!!! Other than that, an interesting introduction to collocation.

Hello from South Korea. As an advanced English learner, Listening to this podcast was educationally useful and reassuring with all those helpful encouraging mindset advice! Sometimes I am demoralized for trivial reasons because my big adult Korean ego steps in and get so bothered and himilated by small mistakes and struggles in the learning process. Also, It makes me so self-conscious worrying that I might look stupid or other times, I am being so harsh on myself to be perfect which is an unrealistic standard. I will try to enjoy this inevitable part of the jorney😊

Recorded texts of Hinduism is more them 8000 year's not just 4000 year's. In simple words Hinduism is looking inwards and staying in harmony with the universe around us. Fullfill your duty towards the universe and don't expect the results to be in a particular way or to your likings because the higher power of the universe knows how to balance everything.
