I'm still shocked that my theory was correct, but I'm even more shocked at how hard this scene hit me. Got past it only to get fucked by Sephiroth umpteen times. FAWK I never ever really used Aerith same as original game, every other character was better since I didn't prioritize materia members and now do abilities synergy and limits. Fuck Sephiroth,. Harder than the other sections just because his moves are so strong and juggling.

Wish there was a breathe between breaking him down to at least change materia at the very least. This comes down to which magic do you have equipped with that party and I hardly have any. Yuffie won't throw the ninjutsu based on the wrong color fast enough, so it hardly gets hit, and usually still says immune after I hit with the corresponding color of magic. Either I suck way back or this is a lousy fight. I straight bruted through the core, took FOREVER. There were a few that were a bit cheap. Hell the head of Sephiroth after this part is nightmarish. Immediate Set HP to 1 Magnified. Then throws the next attack too fast to use curaga, and it's back to the previous part, this part, no checkpoint between them? The fight has been long as FUCK since Jenova Lifeforce or whatever the giant monster beneath Sephiroth merged with Jenova. I want to try again but then again I kinda don't, I'm not very great at combat unless it's fighting games. Only PS5 games I have are God of War 2016, Spider-Man, Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Infamous Second Son, FF7 Remake which is a downgrade to Rebirth in most ways. I can never pick a game to play lol. It's like they don't fulfill an itch that THIS is filling. But they're also much easier, think I set the difficulty to dynamic and on standard action mode rather than classic which might be the ideal way to get through parts of this fight. W FF12 mechanics kinda mixed in, but jeez does the thing keep going after Sephiroth Reborn head part with Yuffie saying a silly insult like hi stupid face or whatever. If it had a checkpoint between these two phases it wouldn't be nearly as bad. HAAAAALP
