Was one of the best rides there. Dca has not been the same since they took out this beauty. Biggest mistake they did in my opinion

@@ThePirateprincess23 that would’ve actually fit right in with the whole Pixar Pier theme. Just like they re themed California Screamin. Honestly without it the right side of the Incredicoaster looks blank and looks like something missing. It was my favorite ride and to this day I’m still devastated they took it out. 🤷🏻♂️

The 4th of July fireworks spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl ran on July 2 to July 4, 2024. Normally on my other videos I would put the date that it was recorded but I chose not to do it with these short videos.

That same thing happened to me in July 2022. They let us stay in the boarding room. While we waited I was charging my phone, playing Super Mario Galaxy (part of Super Mario 3D All Stars) on my Nintendo Switch, and watched The Emperor’s New Groove on my iPad one earbud at a time at the same time! It was a nice way to kill some time. Right when I heard Kuzco yell “I DON’T MAKE DEALS WITH PEASANTS!!!”, the announcer said “Attention inside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, ride to be powered on immediately, please stand clear!” Everyone applauded and so I paused my game and movie as the ride was coming back on. I got September as my song. My favorite song of the ride!

I've only been on the simulator ride that ran at Sea World San Diego from 1994 to 1997. So when I originally made this video, I knew couldn't leave out the one from Australia when I was looking up photos to include in the video.

The California version was originally supposed to be a roller coaster before it was quickly changed to a miniature railroad. The Paris version is a powered coaster and I believe it does go a little faster than the California version.

I did get to ride it one last time the following May (12 days before it closed) and I tried to record it for the last time but I stupidly hit the stop button on my camera before the final drop. I only ended up getting the finale that night. So the next chance I can get to record it is when it reopens as Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

I swear that coaster like dip in the middle of the ride is TOTALLY the wettest drop! If you're in the front water pours in like a bucket! I took my plushie Brer Rabbit and Brer Vulture and they got full of authentic splashwater

At night and in the morning it was. I rode earlier Splash Mountain in the morning and was so soaked to the bone that I eventually bought myself a short sleeve shirt to wear the rest of the day and bought a long sleeve shirt in the evening because it was getting colder and the spirit jersey I wore on Splash Mountain still wasn't dry.

My sister usually sits in the front, but she let me sit up front this one time. I think she finally got the vibe that I had been wanting to sit in the front row on that ride for a long time. There wasn't any special reason, I just wanted to sit up in the front row for a change.

Yep. It was located where Waterworld stands now. It ran from 1987 to 1995 and Waterworld would open later in on October 21, 1995.

You're not going to believe this - in the days since you last visited the aging portrait has been AMENDED to begin aging AFTER the intro has began not before! Unfortunately there’s still one problem. The transformation isn’t complete before the door opens. So…..the last stage when he’s a Skeleton could be missed, But this is a good sign. To be honest though. I liked it better that way synced, minus the rushed timing. Partly because of how it ended at the skeleton stage. Made it more um….creepy for me. Just an opinion. Still, I am going to talk to someone when I go in a few weeks, maybe they can help. Probably not, but no harm in asking.

Well done Princess! As I was describing before with inconsistencies in how quickly the doors are opened from the previous group, this is what I would call a 'good' door opening by the Cast Members, they got it open in time enough so it began changing not long after the people in front of you got in and you started zooming in! An 'excellent' example would have been for the portrait to have been in default for 10-15 seconds from the time you entered, as he holds for 30 secs in total so had already waited the best part of 20 secs before they opened up. Whether this is a lack of urgency on the Cast Member's part or a genuine hold up from the previous group we'll never quite know (it's probably a combination of both throughout the day!) But glad you got to see it at last, you can probably see what I mean now about why the tail end just walk past it.

This time I was at the front of the next group, so I got to see it in rotation. Originally I wasn't going to record it again because I thought I was at the tail end again. But I quickly changed my mind when I found out I was at the front of the line in the next group.

About a day or two ago I saw someone said they fix the timing, but unfortunately now there’s another problem the door opens before the transformation is finished. Like before. What does have to keep our eyes open but the fact that they’re fixing up the timing slightly seems to be a good sign

Thanks for letting me know! I know what you mean about missing it, it is annoying! If I can throw some light on it though, it isn't so much they are letting people walk right by, it had already finished by the time you entered, it only does the one cycle per group (and almost straight away). The sequence in a nutshell is - doors open, after 20 secs the portrait starts aging and the intro spiel plays while it ages. Once it ends, the stretching room opens, and that's it for that group. Once the stretching room closes, the aging man resets and does the same for the next group, there's no cast member control over it, it just does the same thing over and over like clockwork. The only inconsistency is how quickly the cast members open the door as it depends how quick they come back round after unloading their group from the stretching room. So sometimes as you go in it will start after 10 secs or so, other times after only a few seconds, and other times it may have started even as the first guest steps in. If you really want to see it, best thing to do is loiter by Leota's tombstone and let everyone pass, then you'll be amongst the first in with the next group...
