I bought the SIM card after using it flawlessly over WiFi for three years. SIM card adds ability to turn off Wifi and make calls off their data network. Calls are reasonable. I use an Android. But the SIM card, porting in a second phone number of my choice, all tech support --- have been great. They pull off T-Mobiles network, so that is great too.

Great little learner quad As for the plug , if its non transposable and light weight cool , if not then its just another monopoly on battery's

I like the long antenna and VTX power, but the weight is disapointing with over 23g (NanoHawk 21g, Mobeetle6 17g) and that without a carbon frame.

This is not meant for someone like you. They made it heavy for durability for beginner pilots who will crash a lot. I expect most pilots who are past the starter stage will go for one of the many other much lighter options out there.

Glad EMAX is still making these beginner RTF kits. I learned using their tinyhawk 3 and it was amazing. It's one of those where once you learn you can give the kit to friends and family since you'll grow out of it pretty quick. I like everything about this except the new battery connector...like did we really need another one lol what's wrong with BT2.0 or A30s. I feel like it's just a gimmick so we end up having to buy new batteries and chargers.

I have to agree that a new battery connector is a pain, even for beginners. But the heavier weight shouldn’t be a big deal for beginners if it results in more durability.

I installed my LED controller on my nightfire today, I have a question though. There is a lock nut under the frame that is in the way of the LED controller is it okay to remove it? It's originally in-between the frame and therubber bushing, but won't fit in the hole on the LED controller.
@AlbertKimTV
@AlbertKimTV Күн бұрын
It's not a lock nut but a standard nylon nut and you put the board between the carbon frame and the nut (use the nut to secure the board to the frame).
@GunnyTech
@GunnyTech Күн бұрын
@AlbertKimTV on mine there is a metal nut directly under the top plate, it needed backed off to remove the screw. The screw goes through the top plate, through the metal lock nut, through the rubber bushing, then into the pressed nylon nut that's in the bottom part of the frame. So do I mount the night fire chip flush with the underside of the top plate, then run the screw through the hole in the chip, then through the nut, through the bushing, then into the nylon press nut?

As a newb isnt "output" means to the wall socket? So, for example, if i connect an xt60 2s lipo to it what cable do i use to power the toolkit? Usb-c to regular usb adapter?
@AlbertKimTV
@AlbertKimTV Күн бұрын
Are you connecting it to the input side or the output side? You can power it from the input side with an XT60 lipo within the voltage range it can accept. You can read more in the online manual.

I think this is the wrong product to release a new plug with. Would be interesting on a performance oriented quad to see if it offers any performance benefits compared to BT2.0 equipped race quads. Though I doubt it would. Cute little quad either way.

If the plug is open source and in the end cheaper than BT2.0 it could break into the market.

@ The thing is, so is the A30 connector. And I don't think manufacturers are keen on switching plugs again after it took years to get away from PH2.0. I'm afraid Emax might be late to the party with this one.

Hi and thank you for the video. I'd like to buy one of theese 1/76 cars to be used in my house on a parquet. Between the C75 and the C81 witch do you suggest? I wonder if the 75 slips more than the 81 on a smooth surface..
@AlbertKimTV
@AlbertKimTV 2 күн бұрын
Probably the C75 will slip a bit more because the wheels are smaller with less traction but it won't be that different depending on how smooth the surface is.

Is it possible to do a firmware update using the balance lead and a lipo ? Or do I need to use the magnetic cable with the GoPro battery? I am asking because i don't have a Gopro and Flywoo does not include one with the camera.

Sorry, not possible. You have to use the magnetic cable and battery. If you need the magnetic cable, you can get it by itself for $5.59 at this link (select the magnetic cable part to see the price). rb.gy/z03ogj

@@AlbertKimTVwow that was a quick reply! Thanks, I decided to go with the ikon25 max. Only things I was worried about was the camera housing isn’t metal and the frame is unibody. They fixed the latter in the max version though.

There is no battery inside it to charge it. The kit version includes the 65W power adapter. If you have a 65W USB-C power adapter already, that will work to power the iron.

This is sorta a cinewhoop without the prop guards. That weight for an 1202 motor seems like a lot though. I would think they would have gone with a 1204 or 1303 by now but they are still on that tiny motor from the 1S SavageBee.
