This album is really giving vibrations of “I'm doing what I want” and I'm totally in favor of it. Kim Namjoon is taking everything inside him and building such a unique genre. I like how it has become increasingly honest over the years. Although they are required to act in a certain way to feed the illusions of others, only the really brave can refuse. I feel like there is no subtitle on purpose in the beginning because that’s how they feel the awkwardness when they go to the tonight show etc they have a translator that after Jimmy says something, there would be a pause and then the translator says something and then they respond in korean and then the translator says it back but in English so it’s a sense of awkwardness/ or the feeling we can experience what they experience since other than RM, the rest do not really speak english but very interesting
