That's a good question; I'm not sure. But as soon as they add Marine Worlds to BGA, I'll make a new video with an explanation on the differences.

There's no Parks on BGA anymore :^(
@BGATutorials2 ай бұрын
Yea, it's a bummer. Here's what they said on BGA: ""Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We love having Parks available on Board Game Arena! We are definitely planning for a future full of hiking there, and although we did need to take Parks down for a bit, be sure to keep an eye on the horizon for what's to come! Thanks for your understanding, and please pardon our dust for any interrupted hikes." Apparently there is a second edition coming soon, so maybe it will return in coordination with that? Here's hoping.

Maybe this was made for me, as I want to play TM but only know how to play GP! Cheers for the video!

Haha, perfect! Glad it was helpful :). I think I personally like Gaia Project better, but it's always good to experience the original.

As someone who's still getting the hang of the game (only played it once before), your tutorial was so helpful!! I loved how you covered the details; it made understanding the mechanics and strategies much easier for me. And believe me, I need all the help I can get! I've actually decided to keep your tutorial open while I play. It's become my trusty reference guide, Thanks!

Wow, thank you for the kind words! I put these up for a group of family and friends that I play tournaments with on BGA, but when it helps others, even better :).

Great timing for this, trying to learn presently. ? : Does placing a tile orthogonally adjacent to a brown square by only one piece & color grant an extra movement on that track cuz I haven’t notice it do that on my current playthrough and I thought it would. Example, I place a red/blue tile down next to a previously laid brown tile with only one red square touching a single brown square and BGA gave me only two movements: one on blue and one on red (far as I noticed)
@BGATutorials8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question! Movement on the track is only based on the polyomino you just placed. So, if you place a red/blue piece, you get one movement on each of the red and blue tracks (granted you put the blue over ice). I think when you say "brown tile" you mean the Energy resource, or what I refer to as yellow in the video. That resource also gets you movement on a track, but again, only when you place it. When you place a polyomino with an energy resource on it, you get to pick which of the 5 tracks you move up, with restrictions. You can only move up tracks that are either: on the same polyomino as the energy resource you just placed, or orthogonally adjacent to any of the energy terrain (yellow/brown), when you place it. After placing that energy resource, it does not affect future polyominos or goals. For example, if you use the energy resource to move up the red track, it does not turn into a red terrain for purposes of neighbor or private goals. Hope this helps; it is the most complicated of the types. Apologies if it wasn't explained well in the video.

Enjoying your videos. With Akropolis I've found it difficult to determine the edges of the tiles. Especially when building up as you need to build over two tiles. Do you know if there's an option to show this more clearly?

You're right; the trickiest part of playing on BGA is trying to view the 3D structure in a 2D space. There are some camera controls that help some. If you are on a computer, you can right-click and drag to view different angles of the board, or use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out. Mobile has on-screen camera controls that work as well (in the top right of the interface), but not quite as nicely.

You are a god send. Converters were causing me a headache on BGA. Your channel will definitely be one I send to people I want to game with on BGA. Keep it up man!

Thank you for the nice words! I've been doing these mostly for friends and family as we set up tournaments, but I'm happy to hear when it helps others as well.
