Can I just use the lockout tabs so they stay open an modify the rod that it’s connected to and reconnect all the wiring harnesses from the back of the manifold that way I don’t throw a code I don’t want it delete it at this moment Iam not ready for boss intake or a tune to delete them yet .. a ghost cam cam with sound amazing in a Ferrari f8 or a Lamborghini Aventador. It would make either one of them sound like the old race cars from the 60s. Because Ferrari and Lamborghini used to chop back in the 60s. Like the Ferrari 300 P4 . Or the Lamborghini miura jota. Those two cars would chop hard !

I run a snow stage 2 maf on my 97 cobra with 1.5kb I’m spraying a 675ml nozzle pre rotor and a 325ml nozzle directly under the blower manifold into the rotors car made 400 rwhp before the water meth and 540 rwhp after I also enlarged the kennebell blower Inlet to flow double and picked up 2-3 psi boost without even changing the blower pulley made it more efficient I also added a remote mount bypass valve

My explorer 2017 XLT, for some reason the backlights turned on by it self today while being parked for first time, then when I open the drivers door atarted to do a brief chirping noise. Did you get a code? I started to think that maybe the battery started to die or needs a new headlight switch.😑

Mine broke down, both sides are stuck open and i think its leaking vacuum, so I will replace them, the thing is i dont want to modify a lot of the car, what could be a direct replacement for that? im a little bit worried to get the same manifold since a lot of people says it fails kinda often

Why did you ever think something that was designed for not even 500whp would survive 1000whp. If you put, let's say 10k in an engine, you might as well plan on 15k going to supporting the rest of the powertrain

Yeah it can be hard on them because they get hot and can melt the internals. With boost you should probably go high flows or catless off-road even without a ghost cam.

Two questions: Why are you putting the ratchet on the spline bolt when taking it off and putting it on? Will the car need to be aligned afterwards? I didn't see you mark below before taking the spline bolts off.

The IMRCs give you the benefit of having a short and long runner manifold in one combo. The reason for that is that the flats will open making the intake manifold runner longer which is better for low end torque and fuel economy. It does improve drivability significantly. I’ve worked at a dealer for 3 years I’ve only seen one fail. And it was on gen3 car and it was the vacuum actuator that failed it had a small leak. Still locking them out you’re just locking them in one position so you just remove the benefits this manifold offers.

@@Sleeper_Solutions I custom tune these and install aftermarket mods such as supercharges, turbos etc. I’ve seen 9 of them fail with miles from as low as 20k to 115k. The power gains through the curve and from a dig locking them out is unmatched.
