Big cleaning companies in shopping centres don’t prep like this so floors always look bad, speed and cheap labor has ruined good work ethic and doing the job correctly

Throw mops away !!! half of the solution never made it to the floor off the mop just wasted..If you need to mop with a steam mop. Wash pads..Dries quick..SAFE…no bucket lol

You can use a sealer if you want. It's not necessary at all. Just skip that process and proceed to wax.

I've owned a janitorial service for over 20 yrs, we clean mostly oil field sites, with restrooms so bad you need a pressure washer lol, LA's Totally Awesome works great on oily hand prints on walls too, something we learned cleaning the offices of Union Pacific Railroad.

I just started in the flooring industry, this weekend I didn’t my first strip and wax and I’m curious about laying wax down. So I laid 3 coast down and I noticed after each one dried it was looking may not shinny like when you first applied it, is that normal tell you burnish it? Or is it supposed to look super wet like you just applied it after it dried ?

When laying the first layer of wax are you supposed to lay it on thin? And if you don’t lay it on thin what can possibly happen to the finish of the first layer

I’m new to the industry and going to do my first strip and wax. When stripping what is the worse damage you can do to a floor? I assume once all wax is off it’s just bare floor not much you can do to Damage it? Please correct me if I’m wrong. I assume other things like water getting under flooring and stuff like that can happen. But I’m asking like serious damage just removing the wax off the floor.

Hi Jaime, If you follow the steps from the video, there isn't much you can do to the floor other than what you mention. You do want to make sure you remove all finish and you'll want to rinse the floor properly to remove the chemical stripper. If there is chemical stripper residue on the floor, then the newly applied finish won't adhere properly. Never understood why anyone would use sealer. Remember how much of a nightmare it was to strip, its like crazy glue and if you didn't remove it completely when stripping and then try to wax over it, it would cause "scaling".
