#24 should be AWS and NOT Customer - Please verify and confirm?
@cloudvikingsКүн бұрын
Thanks for checking out the practice questions! The “host” wording in my question isn’t ideal and likely causing some confusion. The intent with the question is specific to the EC2 instance, or the VM. So in this case it’s the customer responsibility to maintain the OS of that EC2 instance/VM/“Guest”. However, you are 100% correct if you’re thinking “host in the context of the physical hardware/hypervisor. AWS is responsible for maintaining that layer. Thanks for the question!

Hi Mike, thank you about the video. Recently, I've been study more deep for SAA and optimisation cost is a really big challenge, once you have several factors where we will be charged as well as I would like to go in this path of architecture mainly in the reason of how to design for the specific company scales. Long term I wanna study for multi cloud, in reason that I wanna really work with platform (currently I am a software engineer)

Dude thank you so much. I cannot tell you how many courses I've given up on just because the instructors are annoying or go too fast. You actually know how to explain concepts in a calm and engaging way. I find listening to this instead of podcasts had not been a chore. Question 11: Can anyone tell me why B) 172.31.100.0 is not the right answer? 1- A /30 block is smaller than a /28 range and, 2- anywhere between 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255 is in the private realm no?
@cloudvikingsАй бұрын
@@WilliamJAMP AWS allows CIDR blocks between /16 and /28 ranges for VPC and Subnet IPv4 addressing: docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/vpc-cidr-blocks.html#vpc-sizing-ipv4 docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/subnet-sizing.html#subnet-sizing-ipv4 In the real-world, it would be rare to have a VPC or even a subnet this small. Don't forget that 5 IPs for every subnet are reserved, making the usable number of IPs very low with small CIDRs. docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/subnet-sizing.html#subnet-sizing-ipv4 However for this question #11, "D" would still be the correct answer with the /28 block. The question hints at this a bit, but also keep in mind the VPC peering connection requirements. Worth reviewing as part of your study if you're not familiar with them - docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/peering/vpc-peering-basics.html#vpc-peering-limitations

Far too much time wasted on saying the same thing over and over "think about how much work it would be to do this yourself, the cost of maintaining data centers blah blah" ok I get it- now tell me about the services! Even in your own practice exam video, there are tons of questions about services you don't cover at all here. I don't recommend this course.

i think the answer for 50th question is s3 standard infrequent access.it is used for data that is accessed less frequently but required rapid access when needed.
@cloudvikings3 ай бұрын
You’re right about the use case for S3-IA storage, but for question 50, note the hints about needing to “archive” storage, it may only get accessed once a year, and the main point, the lowest cost option. If you price out the storage costs of S3-IA vs. Glacier options (even if that data is accessed once a year), S3-IA wouldn’t be the best option here.
