I removed the switch on my Whirlpool model WRT518SZFW, but the wires are too short to pull out of the hole to connect to the switch. Do you sell any kind of extension wire?

Thank You for the "better" video, than the other one. Which is associated with a company that sells overpriced (in my opinion) appliance parts.

Great video! If the clothes in model GTDP490ED5WS aren't drying properly, could it be caused by a faulty thermostat, a malfunctioning moisture sensor, or another component?

I would not consider myself a handyman, but I can do basic stuff. This was a very clear and straightforward video which made the repair easy. The hardest part by far was getting the bracket back into place 😂 Thanks for the video

SOLUTION: Someone here in the comments mentioned a trick put the arms back on, which seems like an impossible task. Here's the solution. You'll need a small visegrip for this task. 1- Get the middle thing loose, 2- Put the ams in position, 3- grab the middle pin with the visegrip. 4- Pull up as hard as you can while spinning the arms slowly clockwise and it will eventually grab and stay on.

Thank You for the video. My father has been fighting with this fridge for more than a year. He has replaced the main board as well as the fan and thermistor twice, however it continues to ice up every 2 days. We currently have it apart to defrost and double check the drains are clear which they seem to be. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.
@appliancepartspros
@appliancepartspros Күн бұрын
If you are having a defrost issue you will need to test the defrost heater for resistance, it should read around 30 ohms. If that is good then you will need to replace the defrost thermostat since you have already replaced the main board.

Be careful of after market clutchs and belts. Had a customer get one recently diameter of pulley was larger and belt in kit was shorter. Part number on belt was correct and splutch kit. But it overly difficult to put on belt. This caused the cllutch not release and caused the agitation to not release when it shifted . Therefore it malfunctioned and clothes quickly knotted up. Replaced with old clutch and belt and normal functions returned. The original problem was the shift actuator was broken but the clutch showed some wear as well as belt so he chose to replace with a new after market clutch kit. First time seeing this with generics but lesson learned. Lol
