Living for Jesus, a life that is true, Striving to please Him in all that I do; Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free, This is the pathway of blessing for me. Refrain: O Jesus, Lord and Savior, I give myself to Thee, For Thou, in Thy atonement, didst give Thyself for me; I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne; My life I give, henceforth to live, O Christ, for Thee alone. Living for Jesus Who died in my place, Bearing on Calv’ry my sin and disgrace; Such love constrains me to answer His call, Follow His leading and give Him my all. (Refrain) Living for Jesus through earth’s little while, My dearest treasure, the light of His smile; Seeking the lost ones He died to redeem, Bringing the weary to find rest in Him. (Refrain)

O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior, And life more abundant and free. Refrain: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace. Through death into life everlasting He passed, and we follow Him there; O’er us sin no more hath dominion For more than conqu’rors we are! (Refrain) His Word shall not fail you, He promised; Believe Him and all will be well; Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell! (Refrain)

See these bloody hands? You crucified, tortured and ate your own and your dearest friend. Not just Jesus.

Let your heart be broken for a world in need: Feed the mouths that hunger, soothe the wounds that bleed, Give the cup of water and the loaf of bread Be the hands of Jesus, serving in His stead. Here on earth applying principles of love, Visible expression - God still rules above Living illustration of the Living Word To the minds of all who’ve Never seen or heard. Blest to be a blessing privileged to care, Challenged by the need apparent everywhere. Where mankind is wanting, fill the vacant place. Be the means through which the Lord reveals His grace. Add to your believing deeds that prove it true, Knowing Christ as Savior, make Him Master, too. Follow in His footsteps, go where He has trod; In the world’s great trouble risk yourself for God. Let your heart be tender and your vision clear; See mankind as God sees, serve Him far and near. Let your heart be broken by a brother’s pain; Share your rich resources, give and give again.

It was nice to hear the first two stanzas of this hymn on Saturday, August 24, 2024, but I was hoping to hear at least three of the stanzas that are in my second hand hymnal, which has four. I'll keep looking at videos; this was my first one. Hey! maybe your channel will even have a second and longer posting of it. Thanks and have a great day in the Lord!

Immediately the hymn started playing, I was fascinated by the beautiful way of conducting by the director, then I checked who uploaded it and saw First Baptist Church, then I felt like, "no wonder!" Thank you Mr. Anderson and the church for keeping the fire burning. I am indeed blessed watching this. #proudlyBaptist.

I now love this hymn! Thank you for sharing it! Hello! It's Sunday, August 4, 2024 and I came to KZbin to find help to learn this new hymn I found in my second hand hymnal. I found your channel had a video, and so I selected it. Your channel has had other postings that have helped me learn other hymns in the past few years; I am so grateful you post and share them. Today, I found this one and - WOW! It's one of those hymns that brings tears from my eyes and yet makes me want to shout for joy and excitement! For myself, I would love for Jesus to come today! Amen. Even so, I appreciate him tarrying to save those lost in sin, even my loved ones and my kinfolks, too!

1 O Christians, haste, your mission high fulfilling, to tell to all the world that God is light, that he who made all nations is not willing one soul should perish, lost in shades of night. Refrain: Publish glad tidings, tidings of peace, tidings of Jesus, redemption and release. 2 Behold how many thousands still are lying bound in the dreary prison-house of sin with none to tell them of the Savior's dying or of the life he died for them to win. [Refrain] 3 Proclaim to ev'ry people, tongue, and nation that God, in whom they live and move, is love; tell how he stooped to save his lost creation and died on earth that they might live above. [Refrain] 4 Send heralds forth to bear the message glorious, give of your wealth to speed them on their way; pour out your soul for them in prayer victorious; O Christians, haste to bring the brighter day! [Refrain]

Jesus is tenderly calling you home- Calling today, calling today, Why from the sunshine of love will you roam Farther and farther away? Refrain: Calling today, calling today, Jesus is calling, is tenderly calling today. Jesus is calling the weary to rest- Calling today, calling today, Bring Him your burden and you shall be blest; He will not turn you away. (Refrain) Jesus is waiting, oh, come to Him now- Waiting today, waiting today, Come with your sins, at His feet lowly bow; Come, and no longer delay. (Refrain) Jesus is pleading, oh, list to His voice: Hear Him today, hear Him today, They who believe on His name shall rejoice; Quickly arise and away. (Refrain)
