The Odd Spot Cafe from the 90s is now called Cafe Plum, the mini mart is gone and converted to a house, but the Chancellors pub is still there. On the site of the studios now stands an apartment development with studios in the basement although at least they kept the name. Riverside studios closed because they lost their arts funding from the Hammersmith & Fulham council which had been keeping the place going for years since TFI Friday stopped renting Studio 1 in late 2000 after the show was axed by Channel 4.

The GOOD news is... the Riverside Studios have reopened! And there is now a riverside walk too! The cafe and bar are back with great views of the river. Although it's very modern, we might be producing a show there in the autumn.

Friday nights on Channel 4. Used to love watching TFI Friday and the shots of the bridge and the cafe opposite

Heartbreaking to see this iconic place get demolished. TFI Friday came from Studio 1 Riverside.
