Reminds me of Mac O'Grady. All of the speed is generated between aout 7 o'clock and 5 o'clock. It looks so different from my swing where I throw my angles away too early. Amazing!

Martin, for a strong grip, the lead hand's anatomical snuff box needs to be positioned slightly to the RIGHT of the shaft (for a right-handed golfer - check Rory's grip). For a neutral grip, snuffbox directly on top of the shaft while for weak a weak grip, slightly to the left of the shaft.

The stars are usually tight lipped about their swing mechanics until they are no longer stars. It was very generous of Xander to share this video. I am now a big Xander fan!

Dick Altman taught me how to aim a putt which may help golfers know how to sense a correct aim when standing to the side of the ball. While lining up a putt from behind place a dime 1 foot or less in front of the ball. The hole should be about 12 to 15 feet ahead. Players should line the putt up very well at the dime. Have someone block the view of the hole before lining up from the side. Most people can correctly aim their putt at the dime when standing from the side of the ball. Unblock the view of the hole & only then have the player rotate their head to look at the hole. It’s amazing, but some sense the hole to the right & others to the left and fewer dead on as their first impression of where they feel they are aiming. The same sense would be helpful when aiming from the side for any shot.

Where are you all playing where you have unobstructed access to practice greens? Most of us are competing for space with 15 other golfers.

This was very informative. Great video! I have been to PXG, to Edwin Watts, and to various TaylorMade/Titleist/Srixon/Cobra fitting days at my local course. No one--and I mean NO ONE--is nearly as thorough as these gentlemen on this video. At best, they spent about 15 minutes and offered me a $6000 club that performs just as well as my current driver. Words of advice: 1. Before getting fitted, go through a small bucket of balls with your own clubs. Remember that you get looser and more accurate with more practice, therefore, if you come cold to the fitting, clearly you'll hit it farther as you warm up. 2. Be careful that they might try to sell you by showing you carry and ROLL distance. Always go with carry distance, never ever look at total distance. 3. If they have you test their 6-iron, make sure you hit your 6-iron alongside their iron so that you can rightfully compare. 4. Make them tell you what the specs are on the iron you are trying out. PXG gave me a 6-iron that turned out to be the same as my 5-iron. The PXG rep kept trying to sell me on the fact that his 6 goes farther than mine. 5. Know your numbers beforehand. Get yourself a PRGR or SC300 launch monitor for a couple hundred dollars to measure your swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, and carry (not total) distance. Then, when getting fitted, be wary of them trying to tell you that you are hitting it really far when in fact you are hitting similar distance as your own set.

Excellent video! Do you have any tips to keep the stroke "straight" I guess? i always feel like it might slightly wobble in the back stroke, so it might go up like 1 cm and then I try to correct it down etc, I just cant seem to consistently keep the stroke in the same line
