18:40 Here is what I was attempting to say: "If I let go of the need to be assured by the external, declaring my eyes as the true provider of information and allow the inner experience, the knowing of the inner experience to lead, all will be well." Or, in much simpler words: trust your inner guidance, release your dependency on the external (for validation).

That really is a beautiful 8 of swords. Connecting its trees really is a beautiful thing ❤

What a fascinating 8 of Swords card to explore & contemplate. This looks like an interesting deck. I enjoyed your thoughts on what you were seeing with the imagery, and this is encouraging me to do this with some decks that are befuddling to me. Often I’m not always in the right headspace to do this when faced with decks that aren’t what I expected, so they get put aside for far too long. I enjoyed watching you form your thoughts & perspective with this into 8 of swords.

I can’t believe it! When you mentioned a deck of cards in the previous video I wondered to myself if it was Mystical Dreams. I mentioned that I bought a lot of decks at the beginning of my tarot journey, this was one of them (albeit not the one I trashtalked, that one will remain a secret). As you can imagine, as a complete rookie, it went waaaaaay above my head, and now, a few years into my exploration of tarot, I must say I still don’t grasp the mystery of these cards. Something to aspire to, perhaps. There seems to be so many layers to the deck, I’m intrigued but deeply confused 😅

Sometimes when my readings are very positive, I’m just so grateful to receive the message. Even when readings may seem less action oriented, there is always work to be done. Appreciate your reminder and tip for today.

It’s sad to me that sometimes the people who would most benefit from self-reflection and kindness are the least likely to engage in it, and instead seem to go out of their way to provoke the people they meet. I hope that one day they can heal and find happiness.

So interesting. On occasion I’ve done ‘a quick little reading’ for myself and only superficially felt the meaning of the cards thinking I’ll come back to it later but I rarely do. I think this is why. That work that needs to be done has perhaps passed or I’m no longer feeling that energy. If I don’t have the time to do the work, don’t do a rushed reading because: ‘There’s always work to be done’ ❤

The world card was so on point with today being a 12 12 day, the last portal of the year. Justice brings a sense of balance and the father of Cups show us that we may have taken a deep dive to get here but we have come up and are on top of our emotions. 21 is 12 right to left. I would say that messages are multidimensional ,atemporal and tend to reverberate.

I try to always find one key action/takeaway from any reading I do. That action can range from quick and simple to long and arduous, dependant both on the nature of the reading and what I'm willing and capable of doing at the time. I think that's been a force for positive change and progress in my own life.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and observations about the deck. When I saw how the Devil card doesn’t line up with the flanking cards, as do almost all other cards, it made me think how the devil takes these figures off their paths and disconnects them from the rest if the landscape. It’s not until there’s the shake up (hitting rock bottom) in the Tower card that the figures are free from the Devil and start on a new path with the connection to the moon card. I am considering buying this deck. Thanks again, best wishes!

LOVE the spread! I’ve never done a spread as complex as this one, that provides so much information, because I rarely have the amount of time I would want to devote to it in order to get all the information out of it. I like to journal all of my readings that I do for myself, so that is a big chunk of time I’d need to capture all of that.

I feel so called out 😥 it’s been building up for a while, but this year it’s become very clear to me that the occupation I’ve chosen isn’t a comfortable fit anymore and not as fulfilling as it once were, but I’ve been struggling with understanding what kind of change I need. Add to that that all my previous self-care routines are gone, right now I feel very directionless. I guess it’s time to do some more soul searching. 🤔 Maybe I’ll try out the spread you showed, it looks very interesting. Feel better soon, Sadhana!

This is a stretch of all stretches, but... in Mesopotamia... :D (Sorry...) It is not absolutely dead certain that Shamas, the Sun god was a male. There are some evidence that it could have been a female goddess at some point. But regardless of the gender, The Sun god was the fertility god, too. Also, I quickly want to mention Enlil, the sky god; his garden (the original Eden) was always referred to as green. "The four corners of heaven became green for Enlil like a garden." It's very unlikely that this greenish face of the Sun has anything to do with Sumer, but the connection has always been there.
@IntegrativeHealingwithSadhana5 сағат бұрын
I love this Emilia! This could also be generalized to fertility (male or female) produces/creates offspring, which I think of as green, newborn, fresh . . . And some other ideas are now springing forth. Thank you!

My foundational decks all had Strength as 8 and Justice as 11. For years I rejected anything that wasn't that. Then I found Barbara Walker and my commitment to Strength as 8 started to waver. With time and maturity I've become easygoing about the 8/11 debate. I still lean into Strength as 8, but I don't generally read numerologically, so it usually only matters if I'm studying tarot, reading in a particular style (e.g. TDM) or doing a card of the year. When it does come up I'll generally follow the creator's lead. For 2024, it's played out as more of a Strength-as-8 year, but I've been open to both cards along the way.

My favorite number 🥰. I lean towards 8 being Strength due to what you said ~ it being identified in that manner when I first started to study.
@Harvinaisenkauniselama4 күн бұрын
Thank you, again! I associate 8th Major Arcana with Strength. The reason is a funny one. I see the numbers in colours and feel each of them differently. (They form most fascinating shapes, feelings and colours together.) As long as I can remember, number 8 has been glowing, sunny yellow, with a feeling of something so strong it'll last an eternity or two, whereas 11 has been icy cold, light blue, with a sharpness that will cut through anything, and an urge for balance. So, a very simple reason for connecting these numbers and cards. Not the most intelligent reason, yet at the same time, logical one.

Hi. I don't really ascribe any particular significance to the number of the majors so I don't really care if Justice or Strength is 8. When looking at birth/year cards then I just go with whatever the assignment is in the deck I am using. Same goes if there is any other numeric component to the reading I am doing.
