Whenever General John Gowans is mentioned nobody misses out his friend and successor General John Larrson. Their works are what revolutionizes Salvation Army music and song.

Breathtaking. Where can I find the words to Spirit Divine? I see other versions online, but want to sing along with the Kings Singers.

Love how the bass anchors everything and the harmony 54:40 mellows the counter tenors. Keep it up. guys, keep it up. In my opinion you have a large following. You bring joy and rest to us weary travelers.

Beautifully sung by the finest voices in the world. Even as individual members come and go, this group maintains their unique blend, harmony, and balance. If perfection exists in this world, this is it. Thank you for maintaining and continuing to produce such beauty and excellence for all of us to enjoy.

Oh how I love your music! I saw someone in a comment criticize that altos had little to do! That is what makes it not a bunch of solos. I sang four part harmony with my three sisters and was stuck doing melody being the youngest. It took years for me to understand I THINK in alto. And your harmony brings me such joy! The thrill of you guys weaving your voices into one voice. Blending is all about listening to each other, not fighting for dominance. There is the thrill. And the joy!

Amazingly super nice and smooth, heaven and earth rejoice as above so below, thank be to God.

I am 70, a former music major, and how is it that I just now learned the Salvation Army has a great singing group?!

Back in our Salvation Army days my wife and I had the great privilege of hosting Norman in our home when the International Staff Songsters came to Halifax Citadel UK Corps. It was such a joy to get to know him and appreciate his wonderful sense of humour. During the weekend it was great to be a member of Halifax Band when Norman conducted us in his march Land of Song. No doubt he is now rejoicing in his eternal home and maybe directing the angelic choir!

The blending of the voices is so beautiful-I listen to you as I work. Peaceful. Thank you
