How can we find paid house-sitting jobs in the fastest way possible?
@coupleofsitters17 күн бұрын
You could try sites like PawShake in Australia. This is a bit limiting if you want to travel and house sit/get paid as they require you to specifiy a location and it takes a while for people to find you. Where are you based?

Have you been to Chifley House? If so, what did you think?
@sigmaoctantis189223 күн бұрын
I started watching this because I recognised the Rocket St Bridge. In the late 1950s my grandmother used to live just down the Vale Rd. We would visit in the summer school holidays. I remember running barefoot across that bridge. Running because it was way to hot to walk on it! The only buildings I remember are the pub. All I could remember was "farmers". Look at street view "The Farmers Arms". There was also a big shed, I think it was on that vacant railway land. I recall being told it was where the fettlers (track workers) slept.
@coupleofsitters23 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your memories of the bridge and the area. Isn't it interesting how sometimes these things just sit in the back of our minds, and when propmted, the images of years past in vivid colour comes back?

Looks like it didn't sell. It's off market now with the only sales data I can find being 2003 at $115000, and 2002 at $258,000. Yes, it lost $143,000 on the next sale a year later!

Hi Chrissy and Matt thanks so much for your advice 😁. It was great to learn how to find the appropriate apps and apply for house sitting jobs. I was interested in finding a place to house sit in Brisbane over Christmas so I created a profile that demonstrates my love of travel and pets, particularly cats 😁 My first photo shows me smiling wearing a nice cat t-shirt. I created my profile with an honest introduction about myself. I mentioned my previous experience looking after animals and my current job as a doctor. The final step was my police check which displayed that I have no criminal history. I'm really looking forward to my upcoming stay where I will be caring for a beautiful Ocicat cat and some chickens 😁
