It's an ETN, which makes it high risk. It's from Credit Suisse, which makes it high risk. It's based around oil, which fluctuates wildly from year to year. The reason it has such a high dividend to price ratio is because it has layers of risk baked in.

Yes thank you for pointing this out to people, it definitely high risk. As for Oil prices with what is going on I believe the volatility in that is here to stay.
