If you are reading this comment, and you don't mind doing it, could you please say how old you are and what year you were born in? I am asking this because I have noticed that a lot of the comments on this video have been made by people who werent even born yet when this song came out in 1978. I have even seen some teenagers commenting about what a great song this is. So, I am just wondering what it is about this song that has attracted the attention of so many young people. I mean, how many 16 year olds get on KZbin and search for disco songs from the 70's? lol Usually most people who arre younger than 30 don't like older music, they tend to only listen to the newest music being made or whatever the latest hits are at the time, not the same music that their parents or even their grandparents listened to when they were teenagers. To me it seems like a rare occurance for there to be so many teenagers and people in their 20's who like this song just as much as people in their 70's or 80's,, and I'm just curious as to why this is....why are there so many young people listening to a song that is 46 years old? And also, what was it that caused them to discover this song in the first place? (I mean, how many teenagers get on youtube and search for disco songs from the 70's?) If you were born after 1995, how did you discover this song for the first time? Are there other disco songs like this that you like? Do todays kids/teens even know what disco music is or that it even exists? I would appreciate anyone who replies to this. Thank you.

I was in Radio at that time and playing in clubs and the reason why Terry DeSario another songs like this weren’t bigger. It’s because the prejudice was extreme against Disco at the time. Programmers, preferred rock and dance music died on the radio from 79 until off the wall with Michael Jackson.
