Hey Josh , I would just like to say for when buying slabs I don’t recommend using ALT. I have realized from doing cards over the years that ALT uses sales from EBay that haven’t got paid for. Better to use Card Ladder so you know it was paid!

@@Iangriffin-k6m thanks for letting me know. I’ve noticed recently that ALT, cardladder, and eBay comps will differ at times on certain cards. I try to use both cardladder and ALT together. It’s really weird sometimes.

eBay last sold is what’s used for comps. To check graded slabs pricing I use Alt or eBay directly. For other cards I use cardladder pro. You can also use 130point to check prices.

Honestly this seller is ridiculous! They made him more than fair/solid offers. He must think that these guys get their tables for free. His title says searching for steals, he must think its a one way street. He wasted every one of those dealers time. He should just walk up to them and sayI want 100% of comps, that way they could just say no. Not good content either.

Just sold my addison optic Downtown on ebay because no one wanted to buy it at the card show or fanatics fest. Got $373 for it. After fees took home $322 lol

I go to this show often. Definitely try the trade night on Saturdays it’s best for selling/trading if you’re not a vendor!

I was at that card show first big one I been to. crazy was intimating trying to negotiate a price with these card shops because that’s what it really is, but I understand you stick firm on your cards most of the time they put 80% to 90% but we know they want it at 80% all day.liked your video bro it shows my brother and I aren’t the only ones that walk around and really really think bout the cards we get into. I ended up walking away with a baker downtown psa 10 for a really great deal

Dealers had signs that said buying 80-95% so I was getting offers on the cards. Not in a hurry to move them so wasn’t motivated to sell really.

@@josh_cardI litterley just came back to watch this video after I logged off and just saw you turned down a 92% offer haha they sell for $380 and he offered you $360 which is 92% and you didn’t accept because you wanted $370 which is $10 more so he basically would put in $370 to make $10 haha Your deff burning a lot of bridges by doing this to dealers and waisting there time. I have no hate towards you I’m just saying what I see and think and what I would feel like if you did this to me and I’m not a dealer I’m just a regular person like you.

Idk what percentage you pay but these people are offering very strong I would take them if I were you. $140 card and offers $120 that’s a take all day! When you’re trying to get a deal done you can’t be at full comps since no one will pay that. 🎉

The purdy did 140 for the last comp at the time but the previous were like around $160+. It’s now back up last time I checked I believe.

Also i didn’t want to do 80% on flawless stuff. After this i learned to ask what percent they buy at. I’m going to try to trade instead to get higher value.

@ Still that’s a very fair offer and look at the Jordan Addison. The guy offered you about $20 less than sales. Why not take it when everyone else is offering way under that.

Buddy you gotta buy some stuff. I like your vids but just walking around and trying to sell a few cards isn't to entertaining. I'm not saying this to be a jerk just trying to help with input. Show us the cards your trading or buying and tell us what they are etc

For sure thank you for the input, I actually appreciate it so I know what type of content Is wanted. For this show it was hard to buy good cards even at comps, most dealers are overpriced and it makes it hard to even negotiate. I would love to buy but I don’t understand why dealers are putting cards 100s over comps when now it’s easy to check.

@josh_card ya I get it. I try and avoid bigger shows. I usually do my local card show twice a month. I'm a collector and dealer and am very fair with my pricing. My local card show is very solid. There will be your occasional over price table but it's usually good. Thanks for taking my input
