Love, something you know nothing of 'Cause love don't turn and run And leave you standing in the dark You, tell me that your feelings changed And you don't wanna stay and break my heart Well, baby it's too late 'Cause what about the times that you said to me That I was everything that you'd ever need How can you just up and walk away And look me in the eye and say? You did it all for love You did it all for love You did it all for love You did it all for Love, what was I supposed to do? Falling out can be so cruel But I just can't ignore the truth So, don't tell me I don't understand 'Cause I don't want this on my hands But it's all that's left to do Everything you want's what we used to be And I can't fight these feelings inside of me As much as this hurts, it's the only way Believe me when I say I did it all for love I did it all for love I did it all for love I did it all for love Love, something you know nothing of 'Cause if you did, there's still be an us I did it all for love

Ginger Baker always insisted that Cream was a jazz group. What he meant was their improvisational ability to listen to each other to create spontaneous magic like this.

Can you imagine how good this band would have been if they had lasted 8-10 years? Clapton would be a different player…probably more jazz influenced, like Jeff Beck. Of course, there would have been no Layla or Ocean Blvd.

@robertkelly62828 ай бұрын

@patrickcalabro87188 ай бұрын
@@robertkelly6282Although Eric Clapton wanted to promote Cream🥛🍶 as a heavy Rock and Blues group, which was aimed at the young generation of people who would be listening 👂 and buying their albums, both Jack Bruce and Peter “Ginger 🥁” Baker well understood this and that was a remark made about the roots of the Cream’s rhythm section, which was what Jack & Ginger were doing before forming Cream. They were all considered the best in England 🏴 with Clapton, 🎸 a Blues Phenomenon! All three combined styles produced HEAVY PSYCHEDELIC ROCK ☮️, which Clapton accentuated by introducing the Wah-Wah 😭 😱Pedal. No one was trying to FOOL Eric, as he knew what the other two were doing and often chimed in with them himself! It was Baker, who knew Clapton, ✊ that knocked on Eric’s door, 🚪 and asked him if he wanted to form a band with him and Jack. 🎤 🎟 💽 💿 📀 🏆🌞🌻🌝 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨💫✌️👏 🇺🇸 thank you 🧑🎤 🎌 🚩and the rest is history, FOOL!

Honestly, I like that they ended the song mid-beat. The original ended mid-beat, then they covered it and ended it mid-beat, paving the way for another band to cover it and add a few more verses. But since I can't find any bands that did that, it IS very satisfying to hear that final chord.
