@@eccentricviews Is there difference in the sound of the two version? The original film isn't always entirely audible, partly the recording, partly delivery of dialogue.

This is probably a good idea.. The directors cut sounds terrible with what it has cut-out .. But the addition of new scenes provides some interest.. So you have effectively made a "Redux" version like with Apocalypse Now.. The "Complete", every available scene, version.. Personally, I'm fine with the theatrical cut, but if I ever did watch another cut, it would be yours because I would get to see the new scenes but not have that robot or his ex-wife disrespected in the process!

It’s also the best picture quality that exists… if you’re a picture quality buff… I’ve compared it to the 4k bluray version and it’s way better.. yeah I left all of Bridgette’s lines in. I almost took one out where Dolph said the lines instead but I released his performance was terrible. If you get a chance to check it out I’d love to hear your thoughts. I just uploaded it with embedded English subtitles. Dropbox link is in the description 👍🏼

@@eccentricviews Im so old school I would have no way to watch it.. I watch everything on a disc, usually Bluray (I have the theatrical cut).. Cant use hard drives or anything like that with my TV.. If you were able to author this onto a bluray, I promise to watch it. I know that sounds ridiculous and if it cant be done, no probs. But I remain this way to keep myself locked-into physical media with total avoidance of streaming services. Its a philosophical and ideological choice! But Iv never had a bluray burner and wouldnt know how to do that.. So I can meet you half-way if you know how to do this..

My dad has all the old vinyl's, yeah I think they're 7inch. But if you see the description, I link a video where someone uploaded them when they were on TV in 1969. I used that audio... You should check out my previous videos where I did this with a couple of their other songs. I also made a Synthwave remix version which I think you'll like. I bought one of these beasts from Tandy when they were on the way out.. I was a kid.. There were some surprisingly impressive games.. Dirty Larry platformer and some flying space game that mimicked 3D experience (cant remember name, bought from cashies), including flying under water.. New screen looks nice and bright... You said "Its like Day And Night" ... Go check out the Billie Hughes track with that title.. Good adult contemporary power ballad.

And it ended up being covered quite well by 3 or 4 different Japanese pop stars.. It all became a bit of a rabbit hole for me! That was a pretty big award he won there ..

Well this was 10 years ago now. Someone else could easily make one better, with the tech thats out there now, 3D printers etc…. But I paid way too much for this at the time which I’m a little embarrassed about 😂 I think it was around $1200 AUD😳

I am a retro archeologist and i would love to have one but not to put in a collection. The collectors piece would come first. This would just be an impulse buy. I can just emulate lynx for that.

That is a good question. I never had one before to notice the difference but I’d imagine this screen would have better energy sufficiency. Like the difference between a CRT tv and an LCD tv🤷🏻
