Penguins and tall tales ,breething in the froth from my beer, not ever from a can, now i think, ill take a drink, first, ill blow the foam off my brew, do you swing, for a zoot suit riot, with penguin taiis, tall, from the frosty foam on my beer. I do not waiter, in a Zoot Suit With Penguin Tail, I ran from your Polar Bear, sneaking around, hidding in the foam frothing on the top hat I f my beer. 😊

is amazing how happy music makes some of the worst things seen good and happy. Wish we still had this view of the world, were it was better to be happy than cry a river over spilled milk XD

Where was this at? I went to see the Daddies at least three times between '96 and '98 at the Grand Theatre in Salem, Oregon, my home town. As well at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland and in Albany, OR around '99 and y2k. I was 16 when I first saw them at the Grand and I was floored that such a sound could be so incredibly heavy.

This band has been an inspiration and an influence since the Eugene, Oregon inspired Swing Dance craze of our Generation Y youths! Awesome indeed!

Finding out the history behind this song is crazy. Bringing light to the darkness of the message so we don't forget the tragedy in an up beat way is consistent with the ska ideals. I certainly have a new found love for this song

The song is great, but the fact that it's literally about historical race riots doesn't get nearly the attention that it should. The Zoom Suit Riots are one of my favorite stories of minority team ups of all time.
