Its a nice set, although not specially driven to get the tyranids, its ok. But would have loved it included both Space Marines and Tyranids codexes

I don't think that any starter box ever came with codex books. The cost would be much higher. Usually, with these types of sets, you do get a nice overview of the two armies included. It is a starter set, after all.

It's a great set! You can paint the models whatever and however you want. That's what's great about the hobby. You make it your own. The box art and paint examples are there for inspiration. Grab some paint and brush and have fun! Good luck and Happy Painting!

@@kcholtminipaint models go together easily enough for the most part and don't suffer a loss of detail like previous starters did. You'll have fun with these.

No drybrushing, all done with the airbrush.

after the airbrushing, I added highlights by applying lighter colors to raised areas and picking out the texture of the wings.

That's good to know, I'm about to start this model but I never liked the dry brush method for highlighting the wings. I love how yours came out!

Great video Fulgrim looks awesome 😀😁😂😎😉😊FULGRIM 👎✌🖖viva the Emporeor! Fulgrim is Like the Roman emporeor on speed ! The character always reminds me of the Emporeor called Caligula. He went around with voluptuous clothing buildings and a body guard to match. He was nuts killed family married his sister and murdered her but he was finally stopped by his body guards...A little like those still loyal to the real Emporeor on terra.....perhaps if the Emporeor and the Sigulite should have given the Primarchs a woman to keep them in line...or not ! Maybe the two whose dissaperance was them eloping together! LOL

Hello Laurin, Thank you for your question. The paints that I used for on the skin and scales during this video are all from Privateer Pres Formula P3 Paints. Umbral Umber, Bloodtracker Brown, Skorne Red, Khardic Flesh, Gun Corp Brown and Hammerfall Khaki. That should give you a good starting point. Good luck and Happy Painting! K.C.
