AusMIVEC Thanks! The car was actually never a Cyborg cup car, it was actually just a standard Mirage track car with the Cyborg engine but it has been logbooked as a Cyborg. In regards to setup it’s pretty basic as I race on a relatively small budget and the car is very competent with very little work. The engine however has been completely built, I believe the car is pushing as much as it ever will. Perhaps with unlimited budget and a team of engineers it may make a tiny bit more power, but not much. It weighs 960kg dry. In regards to it potentially running lean, it’s never been a problem that the car has faced surprisingly, so AFR has never really crossed my mind.

@@justracing19 ah ok sounds good :) whats the suspension setup like? what bushings and camber/toe settings you typically use?

@@ausmivec320 Suspension there is a bit more to come out of it, although the car handles remarkably well (it has to in order to be competitive to due to the lack of power!) It's running urethane bushings, about 4 degrees of negative camber at the front and around 2 degrees at the rear. Basically 0 degrees of toe all round.

@@geohudson2125 I only just saw your message, so i'm a little late to this, but if you're still curious - For this race it was making about 130-135 hp at the wheels, later in its life it started to make around 145hp at the wheels. Not too sure on torque figures. It was a pretty big effort to get it to the 145hp, really pushing the motor and involved permanently locking the big cams on and doing away with the mivec system as it had a lot of issues dropping off mivec, the car lost a tiny bit of low end torque, but overall the car was faster around the course of a lap.

Majesticturd I’m not entirely sure to be honest, it could be setup. From what I’ve heard as well, rear wheel drive cars tend to be better platforms and can do more with less horsepower. This car also has 220 at the wheels whereas Cox’s car has 280 engine horsepower so it’s not as big of a deficit as it may seem.
