Unfortunately outside pressure with respect to standard safety equipment, emissions compliance, and efficiency standards have increased the cost of all new vehicles, not just trucks. These requirements are part of why you can't get an entry level car or SUV under $20,000 like last decade.

@CodyLevick they have optional 115V plugs in the bottom of the centre console, at the rear of the centre console for rear seat occupants and in the box of the truck. Typically the 400W plug has a button on the lower driver's side dash near the emergency brake that controls the outlet in the box (so that someone can't just plug in and use your truck for power).

If you find me a one ton truck with that level of equipment for less money brand new anywhere I'm all ears! Totally agree that prices have gone up, but this Big Horn Night Edition represents a great value in a truck with 1,075 lb ft of torque.

Couldn't agree more! We've got two similar sister ships in Billet Silver Metallic (awaiting PDI) and Patriot Blue Pearl (on KZbin) that are just as breathtaking!

Comparing a rental-spec Rebel to a Denali would be like comparing an AT4 to a RAM 1500 Limited, you need to compare apples to apples. We also find that rental companies rarely hook their vehicles up to Wi-Fi for the latest software updates that would've already corrected that lag. You're also comparing RAM's standard output 3.0L to a 6.2L truck. Try that again with the 540 hp RAM 1500 Limited or Longhorn and we promise it's a much more fair fight. You'll find the quality you were looking for.

Hemi was a good engine but they new Straight Six a big step up. I had two hemis and now this new engine and loving every mintue of it. I wish I would have got the Offroad package on mine though.

@LegacydodgeclaresholmCa lol if you say so. There is also an entire generation of drivers that can't drive a manual transmission. I don't think all advancements fall under the category of progress, but wrather lean more towards retarding & dumbing down your consumer base.

Less than 1% of new vehicles sold in Canada will be manual, which is definitely a shame!

Unfortunately a byproduct of increased labour costs, emissions standards, safety requirements and demand in the market! We can confidently say that diesel trucks are great at fighting depreciation long term! With a new powertrain on the way for 2025, we'd recommend making a move sooner than later to get into a cost-effective diesel.

Legitimately started and turned off this truck three times before we realized it was running. Couldn't agree with you more, this new Hurricane is buttery smooth, and with 420 hp and 469 lb ft of torque in the Standard Ouput and 540 hp and 521 lb ft of torque in the premium fueled High Output, there's something for everyone. The interior is to die for.

It's a thing of beauty for sure! F8 Green was gorgeous.

They're a great truck! If you opt for a RAM 1500 Classic with the bucket seating arrangement you can get a permenant armrest. Tires are definitely something you can change at any time if you're after more grip! A true four wheel drive system will always fight the truck going any direction other than straight, but with the new "Auto" systems they can be significantly more forgiving than the old 2HI 4LOCK 4LO setups.
