Went to camping world in Indianapolis to look at a class c and immediately see water damage and mold in the bunk and the sales guy told us that's normal and it's only 40k that told us everything we need to know.

I had good and bad experiences from Gander. I believe all of theses negative comments for CW. I think if all of the anger and hatred should be addressed toward the manufacturers. If they would’ve built the rv’s and travel trailers the way they should’ve been built we wouldn’t had all of theses problems from the start.CW is so overwhelmed with the factories defects.

rvs are gas guzzling money pits. Buying big ticket items that depreciate rapidly is a poor decision no matter how you justify it. Your ancedotal evidence about camping world is a testament to your nievety. Perhaps you should watch a lawyer's take on rvs(Steve Lehto).

It doesn't matter what good you do, if you do something against their belief, you're the enemy in every way imaginable, you will get spit, dragged through the mud, accused. Doesn't matter gow trivial: here's my camping world story : I recently got a new vehicle and CW was the closest dealership, others 50 miles away. So I picked out some questions related to my new truck & towing. They didn't try to forcesell me an RV, I even mentioned i would be buying an rv much later. the guy explained CCC,GVWR,hitch weight and towing compacity to me. And we walked around suggested campers that were safe to pull. And that was it I thanked him for the info and left. I posted that on a public RV forum. And thr backlash I got was the same as yours. Must be a employee, or he scammed you already. Or ny truck was garbage and the rvs I got shown were too much (I did research later on and found the guy to be telling the truth honestly) sadly you fucked up by going to a anti-camping world group and positing somethibt positive to it. You should have just left well enough alone tbh. Cw will survive. These are the same people thay complain when they stub their toe on a jack. And call the jack garbage. Or they buy a cheap af camper and wonder why it was made with cheap parts....... you can't make everyone equally happy. But you can make everyone unhappy as I say

When running the generator on this or any 5th wheel would you always keep the door open on the compartment? Seems like it should be open and even have a fan blowing on it.

I've run 4 sets of coopers, i normally get new tires every other year and sell the used ones. At3, At3, AtP, and master craft ATX. All got great traction looked great... At first. Every single one wore funny, cupped, and just sucked after a year. I used to make excuses, but now I'm in the "never cooper again" club. And this was on 3 different vehicles.

I bought a great big fifth wheel from Camping World and before I could get it home it almost caused me to have a wreck to frame was severely twisted and they never bothered to mention it to me , after I paid for it I brought it back to very next day and of course after lunch discussions they wouldn't give me my money back but they would give me another camper so I did that instead and got a bumper pull smaller camper 2 months later my wife died and I decided to ask them to sell the camper for me I knew I was going to take a loss but I didn't care at the time they informed me after having it for about 2 months they couldn't sell it because I smoked in it and they couldn't get the smell out which we all know is BS I was in mourning so deep I left the state and went to stay with family for about a year, and in my morning just put the camper on the back burner when I returned back to Oklahoma to my home state I asked him about the camper and they were going to charge me $35 a day for probably about 9 months so again I was out 16,000 I'm on disability and I really couldn't fight him so that's my story I'll never buy a camper again

Not to mention Camping World repair is terrible as well. I just paid Camping World in Silverdale, WA to evaluate issue with our coach(03 Win. U35). The 16' power awning would not retract and they said that I needed to purchase a new power awning($3200). I took coach to another CW in Tacoma because they offered reduction in price about $800, total was $2400 instead of $3200. I got a call from them stating that they replaced old awning with new one but awning still will not retract. I asked them why did they tell me it needed replacement but they were unsure since it was another dealer that misdiagnosed it. They got it working again and were supposed to look at wipers as well. They had it for a month but would not return phone calls and I spoke to service manager(James) who told me that he would call me within the hour with update, that was Thursday. We called on Monday informing them we were picking it up and having someone else look at it. When we picked up coach service manager(James) told us it was an electrical box that was problem with awning not awning as we were originally told. They also did not reinstall awing protector, I do not know what happened to it. Coach is now worse than it was when they looked at it. Avoid these guys like the plague

Nissan trucks have always been like that...the throttle modulation, particularly in the lower RPMs. yes. touchy. My 2nd get Xterra was the same way. touchy from a dead start. I now have a 23' frontier pro4x. still kinda touchy. but, I love the truck. Its simple. KISS. And love the NA V6 and 9 Spd trans.

Really informative video. Thank you very much! I have an Onan Cummins generator in my 2022 Grand Design Momentum and it has been of basically no use since it was new. As the generator has a four year warranty, I had a site visit by a Cummins tech, well five site visits. They could not figure out what was wrong with it. Finally on the last visit, they replaced the carb as they thought the choke kept shutting (I was getting code 36, unexpected shutdown). Well, I was happy that they were able to fix it. But, one week later, it starting randomly shutting off again. By this time I was not in a location that had a Onan Cummins service center. So, that is where the generator sits now - does not run for more than 45 minutes. Sometimes it's 30, sometimes 20, sometime 5 minutes. My plan is to go back to Jacksonville FL and have them look at it again. But, your tip about the vapor lock makes sense. When my gen stops, it begins to surge like it is running out of fuel. I am for sure going to get some heat shield / wrap and give that a try - thanks again!!

I prefer the hard plastic on the top part of the door panels. Over time any softer material will crack, fade, delaminate.

buying an rv is the worst mistake you can make...its all in the paperwork you sign...no implied merchantability and arbitration clauses. your widget is garbage when you drive it away. When he said extended warranty I about fell out of the chair laughing. It is about people that do not like having money and will go to any length to get rid of it!

The thing about social media is people love misery and they love to complain rarely will people give a business credit for a good job, but they love to go off when something does not meet their expectations. With that said though if you have a company that gets thousands and thousands of negative reviews it can't be all that great.

A KIND RESPONSE - I am 73 and hubby is 76 and I just watched your 4 videos about Camping World. I was amazed at the kindness you showed others, your gentle spirit and ability to be slow to anger. Through 40 years we have had 13 different camping units, from tent trailers, Class C's, Class A's, hybrids, vans, A liner, etc., and they were all great fun. Excellent video. I will say, that I started watching this video to learn how to take the pedal off. After repairing my water valve leak, I watched the rest. Also, before buying any parts you may want to make sure your water valve o-ring is still good. If not then just buy an o-ring kit from Harbor Freight for a handful of dollars. If the seal is good, reassemble the water valve ensuring the seal is seated correctly. After reassembly, do not put the pedal on. Turn on the water to the toilet and verify the correct operation of the water valve and no leaks. Once verified, you may then replace the pedal.

I just requested an oil change, tire checks, and why generator,which is under warranty, will not start. Going on 4th day of them having my rig without any updates. Has anything at all bern done on the oil change, tire checks? They don’t know is the answers that I’m receiving. I understand about the generator but give me something about the other services at least. Don’t say I don’t know. That’s pitiful. Stay in contact with your customers. Update them like any other mechanic shop. It’s that simple. Thank you.

I realize this is an old video. I have worked at 3 RV dealerships in sales and an Rv”er as well. The location I worked at service was good but slow due to volume ( I did have them do work for me as well as bought a unit ) and no issues. I think a lot of these people that are so negative work for other dealerships and are dealing with a bit of envy as they are the big dog on the block as far as national chains The other thing I hear a lot about some of these negative reviews about finance is frying to upsell. That is how the people in finance make money. Just don’t buy it. The CEO will literally call the satisfied customers personally. I know that for a fact as a customer of mine had a manufacturing related issue with a unit, literally called the customer sales person, and service.and camping world picked up the bill.

Did a 1400 mile round trip on a pro 4 x. It did great, the engine has power to pass and ride was confortable. I did not feel beat up after 1400 miles.

Yes Camping World does actually suck. The buying process is actually that bad. The buying process actually pushes you away as i tried to buy on from them and luckily a dealership right next door acted like a family and easily sold me a 2 year old trailer for a way cheaper price.

With an RV it's "Always Something". We purchased an older 2006 Wanderlodge in 2019. This coach was over 950K in 2006. It's a top level build marketed just below Prevost Conversions and Newell. Not a typical production coach. All welded stainless steel skinned unit. I'm not going to tell you the cost to keep this tank up but it's high. We knew that coming into our purchase but that's OK with us. Appreciate your channel. Not all CW are terrible and a few are probably OK. Great job.

1st of all, I have never owned any type of rv I just enjoy watching rv videos and reviews IMO most of the CW haters don't seem to realize that each site is independently run under the CW name And as that, each site can either be the best or the worst You found one of the better ones It's up to the consumer to do they're homework
