I will always prefer the Xbox version. But I was, and will always be a Playstation fan. Actually a massive fan of Sega/Nintendo as well 😁Long live the 8/16 bit games.

The consoles gave the game a bit more tone to the immersion and feel darker, while the PC version is a little brighter. But there is no beating the image quality on the PC.

Me too. I first played it on xbox and there is just that nostalgic charm. I was a n64 kid so there is just something about big ploygons with shitty textrues. Its immersive for me.

The one thing that bothered me about L4D and L4D2 was how huge the hands looked on certain weapons. The mp5 looks like a mini airsoft gun in comparison.

I played BOTW on Wii U and thought it was great! It does look better on Switch side by side though

Oh wow, I didn't know the Dreamcast version had VGA support. Those extra few months really benefitted the Dreamcast version for improving the visuals & some of the models. With the leak of a remaster of 1 and 2, they probably used the DC version as teh base for 1.

I'ved owned both of these systems for many years. And this game BLACK for both machines. The Xbox is hands down WAY better in every way. I have so far not found any game the is better on the Ps2 than the Xbox. The Xbox is a more powerful machine. However the Ps2 is a more reliable machine. Never having any issues with it. Its definitely a better built but less capable machine. An Xbox is like a Sports car. Fast. Capable. But less reliable. A Ps2 is like a 1986 Toyota pickup Basic. Very reliable. Gets the Job done. Take your pick. For me i have always prefered the Xbox even though I own both systems.

Because it just makes sense remaking the game that started it all. Bloodborne will get it's remaster eventually, if not in the near future, there's a high chance it'll be remade for the PS7. lol

Mother of Neptune... I'm glad I checked the reviews and saw a massive disparity when it came to the PS1 ver, that's the one I was gonna get XD eegh! The way everything's rendered on PS1 adds to the horror feel, I think, and that the low rez makes it harder to tell how simple the models are... that and it's a lot darker lighting wise. But man, it looks like a literal nightmare to play.

You could upscale N64 version, in RetroArch up to 8x, it would look close to PC version in resolution.

@@JackyDsPlays OK, I've read it in the description :) I really wanted to play this game by using 32:9 but it still doesn't work because textures flicker in RetroArch and in PC version FOV don't work for this aspect ratio (in N64 version FOV functions!). It's a very rare game in which nothing works for 32:9 :)
