I’ve had no issues, so far. I bought it when it was 13 years old and it still had all stock engine components, top end, bottom end, etc. I rebuilt the top end once and have kept the oil/coolant fresh and have had no issues. 15 year old bottom end still running strong. And the suspension makes for a smooth ride with all the power a person needs. I love it

@trailsandtribulations7137

It wasn’t nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. It’s similar to the 400ex labor. I was thoroughly impressed with how easy it actually was.

Hi there, was wondering if you can tell me how ther 700xx ride compares to other SA sport quads. Basically does the IRS make a huge difference in the level of physical punishment transferred to the rider. I have a trx250ex with rear shock mod for a softer ride but it still beats me up. your experienced feedback would be greatly appreciated!
@trailsandtribulations7137
@trailsandtribulations7137 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response! the IRS definitely makes for a more comfortable ride and less beatings. I have no complaints about it. Nothing but positive reviews. My favorite machine i’ve ever owned.

I'm debating getting one of these 2 bikes but cant decide... How is the suspension on both? I do some jumps but I'm pretty light at 135 and 5'10 so I think I would be fine with extra seat height on the klx I've ridden full size bikes before. I just really want to know which one has better suspension bc that will be my deciding factor. So far I like the crf more though bc I heard it has more low end and the lower seat height would be nice in the trails it also looks better imo.
@Nitehacks
@Nitehacks 2 жыл бұрын
i think the klx would be better it has squishy cushion for heavy people but since ur light it would probably be phenomenal btw what is ur height if your relatively tall lets say 57 plus it should fit you k if ur 5ft9 or taller you should be able to pretty much flat foot it

I have the crf250f it’s great. I added race tech fork springs to handle my jumps, got race tech shock although stock was fine for the most part even through super gnarly stuff, fork risers, custom shock also extends rear so ground clearance is higher, yoshi pipe, air box and ejk mod are next once I want more power but for now it’s perfect for drilling motocross and woods riding and racing.

Little by little, I plan to add to the CRF. I mostly focus on my other stuff and my brother doesn’t ride as much (CRF is his) so this is on the back burner but definitely have plans for it. Yours sounds awesome. Yoshi pipe is awesome. I’ve heard quality videos on it.

@orvilleortiz8616
@orvilleortiz8616 3 жыл бұрын
@@trailsandtribulations7137 Yeah so I traded it the raptor for the trx450er and I honestly didn't know anything about this set up,you know the shimming part and decompression system, but I figured it out, I disassembled the valves, springs, camshaft without taking measurements, what a mistake that was,but I got it fixed,I went with Stock Ferrea Valves and Springs kit, Stage 2 Hotcams, 100mm Cp carillo piston & clutch I used CR500r springs with Tusk High performance fibers and plates,and I just bought a few OEM Keihin jets to get the carburetor where it needs to be at,I bought a jet kit off of 6Sigma, which they supposedly build them to the specs you send,but it didn't work,can't wait to ride it,I'm waiting for parts to come in.

@trailsandtribulations7137

I’ve came across a couple bear and a couple elk, plenty of deer and smaller animals, and lots of reptiles and amphibians and the usual in wet, muddy areas. We kept swapping positions in this ride but mostly the 2019 Yamaha YFZ450R (stock) was directly in front of me. I think at the very beginning it was the TRX400X with the FMF slip on. If you’re hearing an exhaust other than mine, it’s probably the other TRX700XX running the full FMF system and it’s loud. 💥

Installing the exhaust and plugging the tuner in was easy. The actual tuning has been a task despite not being too complicated. I recommend asking Barkers Performance or EHS Racing to have it pre tuned for your build prior to shipping to you.
