The reality is different, at least in Europe. Clubs from little to the biggest have scouts, many scouts and coaches, if you are good and if they have a spot they call you for auditions, it all depends from how good you are, I could make several example, just one, Federico Gatti, he play for Juventus now but where he was until few years ago? He was noticed playing in the lowest league, almost amateur, it was the 6th league in Italy, he then arrive in 5th, then 2nd and finally Juve signed him. And for the record he had many chances because he start his career in Torino club, 7 years of Torino football academy but it didn't work, obviously he wasn't that good to become pro, he needed more time. There is NOT an easy way, connections and agents help, but a club make an investment when they sign a player and they are not stupid. So relax, train the better you can and if you are good things will happen at a certain point. Then not all the players can arrive in the major leagues but it's all about how good you are, good luck have nothing to do with that. Or do you really believe that in minor leagues there are hidden players like Messi, Ronaldo, Maradona, Romario or make any other big name? Pulisic to make another name, he is American, he started in England because his family lived there, he returned in US, he have been noticed by a Borussia scout when he was 17 but why? because he was very good. There is NOT an easy way!

I have been playing football since the age of 5 but I've never actually recorded anything , as you mentioned covid did kind of effected us and never got to get my footage . But my gpa is as of now 4.3 and I am so stressed because I can fit everything but I don't have the proof of my highlights , I am in need of advice thank you in advance!

What if I am from another country

There is more we can do as coaches. We can offer free clinics. I am attempting to start an opportunity for the kids in my community to play small sided games on Sunday afternoons. Unfortunately field permits are 100/hr and since I am requesting consecutive Sundays rec and park classifies it as a “program” and they aren’t allowing applications for field permits from “new programs” b/c field space is congested, so the city is favoring and protecting these for profit clubs who charge parents coaching fees which happen to exceed the actual amount that these clubs pay coaches. One of the problems is these clubs charging over 3k a year per player and rather than supplementing their income with youth soccer those at the top are trying to make it their full time gig yet they 1099 all coaches as contractors which is a misclassification. They tough reality is that if we want change it will require sacrifice. All change requires sacrifices.

One of my family friends actualy got stuck in the airport with Austin FC MLS soccer. Hes sons play soccer for ecnl, highschool, and elite local clubs so he got alot of pictures and stuff. The main thing they said to him advice wise about soccer is highschool is the reason they got scouted in the first place. Alot of them did play for ODP, USYS reginol, and ecnl, but they said they did good in highschool and got scouted that way to great schools and then made mls. This is comin from a Surf player by the way so I have no bias, but i think highschool might be more important. idk
