brilliant. I had no idea you could make this shape without adding 8-0s on the last row, neither did I ever know what a parrot clasp was; still don't about to google, and I love the technique used to add the chain. Pure craftsmanship. Bravo. I love the soothing music choice much better than anything else Ive heard and I've had some of the most stressful last few days. Thank you for the education and inspiration. Not only for pendants but for toggle clasps. Beautifully done. You can also make it larger or smaller depending on the need. Cheers!

Beautiful pattern. The only issue i have is using the right thread and needle. How can you pass thru the 11/0 beads multiple times with a 10 or 12 needle, especially the 10? Thread- ive tried .005 and .006 diameter the .005 breaks .006 breaks or frays. .005 i can get thru the eye of a 12 needle but .006 it's alot of work just to thread the needle. Any hints, tips, tricks or suggestions? I want these so bad. Lol i get halfway and thread gets frayed or breaks.
@arabellabeadedgems3 ай бұрын
Hi, Darla. I’m using TOHO 11/0 sead beads here and they have bigger holes than any other beads. Fireline I think is the best brand of beading thread (although it’s a fishing line) there is. When threading a needle make sure to flatten the end of the thread with the nose plier to make it narrow and that should be able to go through the needle eye.
@darlagary56843 ай бұрын
Hi Arabella (beautiful name) thank you so much for reply. I'm still new to all this beading stuff. I'm realizing just because the beads say same size (11/0, 10/0 etc..) Doesn't mean the hole is same size. Lol thanks again.
@arabellabeadedgems3 ай бұрын
@@darlagary5684 That’s totally ok, Darla. When I was just starting to bead I have no idea what I was doing. 😅 But as the saying goes, practice makes perfect! Just keep beading. 💕😊

Your designs are beautiful, but your videos are difficult to follow because you take the written titles off too fast and you constantly cover your work with your index finger. Please know that this is constructive criticism to help you improve the teaching in your videos and the viewers grasp of your presentation.
@arabellabeadedgems5 ай бұрын
Thanks for your feedback. I tried to make them easier to follow and sometimes I had to freeze a certain part of the video. I’m not denying the fact that I still have long way to go in making good tutorial videos. But still, I wanted to share them regardless, so others can try. You can always pause a certain part of the video so you can follow. You can also zoom in. Play, pause, rewind, until you figure them out. Those are things I do from when I started learning to bead. I love beading and I really want to share what designs I came up with but due to some circumstances, I had to stop. It’s been more than a year since my last upload. I still try to help by answering questions to those who reach out. I don’t monetize from this so don’t care about the views of people who doesn’t have anything good to say.

Muchas gracias
@arabellabeadedgems6 ай бұрын
Hi, Maria. CRAW is an intermediate stitch. It stands for Cubic Right Angle Weave. If you are just learning this, I recommend you start with the basic right angle weave first. There are a lot of videos that you can watch on YT. Thanks for subscribing. It’s been a while and I haven’t posted any videos since last year. I have to go overseas to check in on my elderly parents from time to time. But I really appreciate people like you who still find my videos helpful. Kind regards. 💕

I don’t think you have noticed in the caption but there’s the color and no. beads. Also, everytime I add bead/s on the needle, I paused, so you can see the color and how many beads I picked up. I’m so glad only few people complain with my fingers blocking while I do the stitch. Even the most knowedgeable beader explains that while we try our best to make all these tutorials as easy as possible, we need to hold on to the stitch while pulling the working thread. I know my videos are not the best but you have no idea how hard it is to make just to share the craft with you. Thank you for your feedback but honestly I’m not here to please anyone who thinks I owe them one.
