Kids won't trust us with their best until they see we can handle their worst. RAD is new to me but I'm reading up on it. To me it seems like she's creating situations of conflict (probably on a subconscious level) because that creates feelings that she is unfortunately accustomed to, given her life experiences thus far. She has trouble attaching in positive ways, the negative ways are more familiar and seemingly normal for her so she may be seeking out opportunities to make things 'seem normal.' I think the best thing you can do is focus on helping her feel safe, whether that's physically, emotionally or both. You're going to have to show her you love her no matter what happens or what she does. Way easier said than done! I know you know I'm not an expert but I do enjoy talking about things like this! Keep it going and keep getting it out there.
