Specialist sports like taekwondo and boxing are some of the hardest combat sports to master because youre so limited in what you do that you have to perfect every little detail. In mma you quite literally only have to be average at a few different forms of martial arts. As floyd once said “a jack of all trades, but a master of none.”

@@joondagoon6774 i mean some people specialize in certain aspects of combat sports and because of that, have holes in their game which get exploited therefore losing them the match. I do agree that mma at the highest levels is very VERY entertaining. But a lot of the fighters in the past, even today, are people who decided not to continue schooling after high school. Its very rare still, to see fighters who have trained mixed martial arts their entire lives, but the talent pool in boxing is VERY deep. Boxing is the most practiced combat sport globally and everybody who boxes, start very young.
